Wingate by Wyndham Galveston Beachfront at Seawall

The service is awful. When we got there and ask for blankets because we had two beds and one blanket it took two days to get one and it’s because I ask one of the ladies that does the cleaning. I also asked for towels because that to was limited and their where 4 of us two adults and two children. I had to take the towels to the front lobby only not to get into an argument with the lack of customer service Moran at the front desk and he also doesn’t give me the amount of towels I did return back. Also he accused me of tearing some bags during breakfast which my family and I woke up late and did not go to. So that added to the argument and then he had the nerve to say to give him a good review. Oh and the pool we could not enjoy because there was garbage in it and the trash can was overflowing. Oh and rude boy tells me to never come back and I said first and last time. To run a business you need to be kind, courteous and complicit when working with the public, especially in the hotel business. Oh a d parking is not free they charge $15 a day but it’s says free in adds I had seen. Oh and be careful of the deposit they take cus I’m trying to get that back si ce they charged me for it. So please beware before booking.

The location is the only good thing about the hotel the service was really bad they talk about you in front of your face in a different language and are very rude. Our first room was not very clean sooooi rude 0/10

The room is very clean and big with full finished. Location is good.

We were surprised how nice the room looked when we walked in. Looked clean and new except for the bathtub which looked stained. We swam in the pool and had a good view of the ocean. When we woke up in the morning we found bed bugs on both beds and we had bites on us. Not sure if they care, we tried to tell the housekeeper ect and they just took the sheets off the bed and moved on to the next room. Do not stay here.
