Holiday Inn Express & Suites GALVESTON WEST-SEAWALL by IHG

The hotel is clean, big, ( even the washroom), with great ocean view Balcony.. it only just need extra careful ( of course) when crossing tye road , if you want to explore the beach... The location may a bit far from the downtown, if you need to explore more the town... but it has a closer theme park, Moody Garden ,which is very nice place to visit for a day... They have a ready , trusted , recommended transpos, if you need too..

The staff was very friendly. This hotel worked for the night before our cruise. There were groups of cheerleaders staying there for a competition. They screamed, ran the halls, and talked right outside of our door well into the middle of the night. They were back it at the next morning. If we had been staying for more than one night, I would have moved hotels.

Breakfast was good and enough options, poolside needs a little work. Hotel has a strong dampness smell.

The room smelled very bad, the internet was down for our stay (24 hrs) , there was nothing done to help on either issue

Showed up with our reservation to which they said we didn’t have one so they originally started with we don’t have a room, to finally placing us in a room. Bed had stains all over it (room service did clean when notified). But beds were awfully uncomfortable! Otherwise great workers, good breakfast, nice hot tubs!

No Wifi throughout my stay. Promises were made to resolve the issues but to no avail. Major concern, but t h e rest went well. I don't know if I will stay here again.

We utilized the hotel as an overnighter before a cruise. It was more than adequate. However, their internet had been knocked out by a violent thunderstorm, so some of their amenities were not available. The staff more than made up for that.

All was good except for the rude woman at the front desk. The girl with the nose ring.( Not the young lady at the front desk with the long brown straight hair. She was very sweet) She had an unpleasant attitude. A real bossy Attitude. to get blamed for what the other girl did. she was very sweet. She had a horrible attitude towards all the guest. Very unpleasant girl.
