Terrace Mar Suite Hotel

We had a room on the second floor. We were very pleased with everything. It was a spacious room with everything we needed. A large supermarket is a 10-minute walk away, and the old town is 30 minutes away. There's a mini kitchen with a frying pan and two pots, plates, and cutlery—everything was included. A microwave, refrigerator, and stovetop were also included. There's a pool and jacuzzi on the top floor. The staff was wonderful, helpful, and answered all our questions. Everything was perfect. Towels were changed daily. One downside: there's a lot of noise from both the street and between rooms. But that's a common problem with many hotels. You can definitely book this hotel; it's worth the price.

It is actually a small apartment, not a 4-star hotel, and there are interconnecting rooms. The service is basically unresponsive except for going to the front desk to find someone on site. They will arrange a room on a lower floor for you, and the balcony is basically unusable.

Everything was great, from the service to the facilities.

Despite its small size, the Terasma Suite Hotel in Funchal, Portugal, impresses with its excellent location. The rooms are fine and the rooftop pool offers pleasant relaxation. The breakfast impresses with a variety of fruits, but the breakfast room in the basement could spoil the atmosphere somewhat. Overall, the hotel receives a solid rating of 8 out of 10 points.
