The room is very big at the entrance of the house, and I feel a lot better at once. The exposed balcony is comfortable and not necessary. It is very convenient to dry clothes temporarily. The laundry room is fast and cheap. Enter the door to drink popcorn lemonade and take off happily. The bar at night is super atmosphere. Listening to the beautiful song, relaxing and falling asleep, the service staff is caring, the island parking is inconvenient, there is no need to worry about the hotel parking service, but the charge is 20 euros a day

Like another reviewer I became jittery the night before we left about the hotel being part of a shopping mall - silly me! We had such a great week staying here that we want to return next year (and we rarely return anywhere because there are so many new places waiting to be visited)! Everything about the hotel suited us perfectly. Lovely hotel, great staff, fantastic choice and quality at breakfast, quiet even though you're in the town and, as for the roof terrace - all whirlpools should be that big and have those wonderful views! Before I sound as though it was perfect I must confess that putting out the lighting on the first night caused a bit of a problem but we eventually worked out what to do, and we did get used to the low levels of lighting in the room and the lifts. Although we enjoyed cocktails by the pool, we didn't eat in the restaurant or drink in the bar but that was only because there are so many bars, restaurants and cafes within easy reach that it would have been a shame to miss out on some fantastic experiences. We were also there during the flower festival, which gave us beautiful sights and became our regular evening walk being so close to the hotel. Oh, and the icing on the cake - one of our favourite shops, Massimo Dutti, is at the entrance to the mall!

A small kitchen for drinks etc The spa and massages were 5* without exaggeration This has become one of our favourite hotels We will definitely be back We will definitely be back

Hotel facilities and equipment, although old, but also basically meet the needs of use, breakfast is very rich, the room given by the front desk should be considered the largest of the same type, but the floor is too low, the parking lot is noisy, the fly in the ointment is less front desk staff Smile, communication is frosty, resort hotels should not be like this. There is also a small episode at check-in. The front desk must ask me to send the order to the hotel's mailbox, and she has my order number in hand. Is it ridiculous!

The hotel is right by the sea, next to the CR7 museum. There are a lot of Ronaldo elements in the hotel, and the fans have perfect punch cards. The first day to the hotel to provide the Welcome drink is quite delicious, the CR7 corner downstairs tastes good.

The breakfast is very good, suitable for children, the location of the hotel is impeccable, it can be said that the best. Recommended by British friends, the price is more expensive than other hotels. I didn't feel anything special when I looked at the website pictures, but I still believe in my friends and I booked them. Check-in is at night, from the front desk reception to the lead to the room to experience the professional, enthusiastic and meticulous service of the hotel staff. Needless to mention the room, there is a hotel manager's personal welcome speech, service introduction box, postcard, welcome dessert... Feel the bay's breeze night view on the balcony, drink some red wine, great. After a long-distance flight, take a shower in the classic and elegant bathtub, sweet as a dream. At 7 o'clock in the morning, the sun has not come out, greet a new day in the heated swimming pool in Jingyi. If you like sea water, you can swim in two seawater swimming pools, especially the unique piscina pool on the beach, let you let go of your imagination. Breakfast is a surprise. Very good hotel top location right next to the bus direction airport and direction center Well soundproofed because we had seen the works … and that's fine, we slept very well despite that Only downside is breakfast or on arrival they force you to choose a time In case of change, you must call the night before. It's super annoying! Especially when you don't have a precise schedule We didn't respect the schedule every day and it's ok, we didn't fail :) Receptionists are top notch and always available

This hotel was excellent. There are 1 and 2 star reviews here on TA - I do not recognise the picture in these reviews - all I can say is that the more spelling mistakes I see in a review, the less I value it. (I mean - you expect the hotel to be so perfect in every respect, the least you could do is exercise the same level of care and attention in your review. How can you expect high standards elsewhere when you don't hold yourself to the same level?) From the moment we walked in we felt welcome. The check-in was very simple and efficient. We arrived quite late, and they'd thought to have a tray of cold food sent up to our room for us. Thank you! There is an underground car-park free for guests (useful with a hire car) and whilst we were there it was not too busy at any point. The Wifi is easy to connect to and pretty fast. It did tend to drop out quite a bit when in the main bar area, but otherwise it was problem-free. The pools and areas are excellent - perhaps it would be nice to have one of the outdoor pools slightly heated - they could be cold. The little gym is fine - like most hotel gyms its not exactly a full health-club, but it allows you to keep up most of your workout routine. Restaurants - really good. The buffet for breakfast and evening meal was excellent - very well presented, maintained, and huge choice. That includes for vegetarians, with the slight caveat that it would have been nice to have vegetarian hot main meals for dinner, although with the very wide salad range, no-one is short of choice. The three special restaurants (Madeiran, Italian, and Moroccan) were also great, and although you have to book in advance, there's no limitation on how many times you can go. Vegetarians here generally have to ask, but then there are plenty of options. The staff in all the restaurants were particularly friendly and good at what they do. The room was nice, and comfortable. We had a double room with an extra bed (to make it a family room) - perhaps it was a little small for that given that it is a 5-star, but it was by no means cramped and if you were just a couple in that, then you'd be fine. The room housekeeping was good. A small criticism is that although there was a leaflet saying that soft drinks in the minibar would be replaced (for free) this wasn't done - I don't know if we needed to specifically ask. It wasn't a problem for us (or we would have asked) but it would be nice to have had that happen automatically. Point of criticism - we seemed to spend a little longer waiting for lifts than would be ideal - there seemed to be one lift out of operation although no signage to that effect, and the lifts were a little under-sized - quite cramped when more than three people were in. In many ways the experience of a hotel like this can be affected by the number of people, and while we were here, it didn't seem overly full - perfect for us but may not always be like that. This is a lovely boutique hotel in the centre of Funchal. The location is excellent and the service is amazing. We didn’t use the spa, but the outside pool and jacuzzi were very pleasant. The breakfast was particularly good with a big selection. We stayed for four nights (a birthday treat). The staff were all very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The service they give is 5 star. A card by the bed informed us that if the pillows or mattress were not condusive to a good nights sleep, to ask for them to be changed. I found my mattress a little on the firm side, and sure enough a nice comfortable topper was placed on the bed and I slept well. A nice touch was the unexpected, beautiful chocolate birthday cake left in the room for me by the staff on the day of my birthday. A couple of matches to light the candle would have been good, but what a lovely suprise. Like many other people I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
