Altstadthotel Arte

The hotel is still well accessible from the main railway station. As well, the location is good. However, the road painted by 20 h/km is very driven in front of the hotel and the breuhouse and the least drivers comply with the speed limit. We had a room in the back of the hotel, fortunately. However, we couldn't leave the window open in the evening if we didn't want to hear the conversations of the customers on the terrace of the neighbouring Italian restaurant. The room was conveniently equipped, a large LED TV and a large shower in the bathroom. The hotel was also comfortable with the lift. A special feature is the hotel's brewhouse, where breakfast and dinner is offered as buffet in half-pension. Breakfast has a good choice, including regional specialities. The dinner buffet contains several pre-foods and meat, fish, nude and vegetarian meals, and vegetable and potato accessories. Both breakfast and dinner have tasted well. The beer brewed by the brewery house itself was also good for us. Since Fulda is certainly worth a trip, we will certainly book this excellent hotel again at our next stay.
Hotel Esperanto Kongress- Und Kulturzentrum Fulda

We were part of a group of 150, attending a special conference. The Hotel was fully capable of handling such a group and did it well. The high rating is more because of its amenities and capabilities as a business hotel than the quality of its services. The accent is more on quantity than quality. Our room was quite adequate; it was comfortable and sufficient in every way. It was not air-conditioned, something we did not know. The hotel refused to switch our room; there are large sections of the hotel that ARE air-conditioned. This, during a particularly hot summer in Germany, during a very warm early September week. The unwillingness to change, even with an additional fee, soured us. We requested a fan; it didn’t come until we asked AGAIN, two days later. Counterpoint to the mediocrity: outstanding breakfasts, full of variety, especially in breads and coffees. This was a high point of each day. Bottom line: good hotel for conferences and business but not for those who who prefer emphasis on service and quality. For this, choose one of Fulda’s lovely pensions or small boutique hotels. There, you’ll have your down quilts and pillows, wonderful breakfasts and coffee - and full attention of the owners.

We visited the town of Fulda on our unexpected trip to Germany, through covid 19-times. Never been here before and slightly lost. But everything changed, when a young waiter at the orangeri next to the hotel spontanelesly started telling us about the history of the marvelous paintings on the ceiling. The same waiter later served us dinner at the Dianakeller restaurant in the cellar of the Maritim hotel am Schlossgarten. Even if he was very busy, because of many visiting and hungry guests, he took his time to serve us with a smile behind his mask and in a very friendly, very polite and serviceminded behaviour, with made us feel very welcome instantly. We will always remember Fulda because of this most pleasant experience! Thank you J !
Hotel Fulda Mitte

We booked the hotel via a package traveller in the castle theater with music cards. The reception at the check-in was very friendly and important information was provided. The room was very spacious with well-being potential. Particular attention is to highlight the available kit selection. We were best served with variant 1 and we have rarely sleeped so well in a hotel in the first night. Thank you for that. Breakfast is the level of a 4-star hotel. In addition to the mandatory coffee from the coffee machine, you can also use the offer of a coffee machine with Espresso, Cafe Cream, Cappuccino, Latte Maciato or Cocoa. There are no wishes open, so here too was the service friendly and premature. We didn't use the restaurant because we had dinner outside the evening. The room was on the street side and thus, of course, a little louder at open windows, which did not disturb us. It may be everybody who has to decide here. But there may be no quiet rooms, as there is both sides of the street. Overall we were very satisfied and would like to come back.
TOP CityLine Hotel Platzhirsch Fulda

We were at the 1st Advent weekend at the hotel Squarehirsch. We had booked a Superior DZ. The room was conveniently equipped as far as everything is good. It is also very beautifully centrally located. At arrival we were very friendly receiving. Also in the bar, the entire staff was very premature. Only at breakfast is obviously overcomfortable and sometimes unfriendly if many people want to have breakfast at once. Specifically, a black haired employee appeared here. It was obviously particularly difficult to fill the buffet. And when you asked, there was a cool and unfriendly answer.
