KOKO HOTELS Properties in Fukuoka

I booked this hotel half a year in advance, as hotel prices in Fukuoka on weekends are just shocking. Traveling with elderly parents and children, I wanted twin beds at least 1.2m wide, and breakfast included. I also needed a hotel conveniently located near Hakata Station. KOKO met my expectations, though it was a bit unusual that they didn't tidy up the room for three days. But then again, we were out all day and only came back at night, so the room didn't get very messy anyway. If you needed fresh towels, you could put them in a yellow bag and hang it on the door. It's very close to Hakata Station's Fulgen Musashi, and just a five-minute walk to Hakata Hankyu, Nintendo, and Amu Plaza. There are also many drugstores near the hotel, making shopping and dining very convenient.

Walking distance from Hakata station, good location and easy to access. If joining day tour the meeting point was just outside Hakata station here. Choose to stay here is because i travel during the golden week and need to get up early to fully use the JR pass and kkday/klook day trip. There is bus to and from airport. Also metro also fast too less than 15mins can get to the airport.

The hotel's location is excellent and very convenient. Don Quijote and drugstores are nearby. The bus stop right outside is also a big plus. There are many shopping options in the vicinity, and it's not too far from the airport. Highly recommended!

Hotel location is great, 10mins walk to hakata station and it's within decent walking distance to canal city and kushida shrine. Staff is friendly, they gave free dashi soup packs as welcome gift. There are different brands of hair shampoo and conditional and soup bath for guests to try. Twin room is considered big for japan standard, loved the bathroom with bath tub for hot bath and it's separate from the toliet. Cleanliness is good. Only complaint would be the foul smell of the toilet that I had to buy a room deodoriser from daiso for my 8 nights stay there since it's too troublesome to request for room change. I think the room in south wing has somewhat been updated with new wall paper but it's still in old condition with the stale, moldy smell in the room although it got better with AC on, and the foul toliet smell. There are humidifier sets for loan but would be better with an air purifier which is provided by some other Japanese hotels.
