Richmond Hotel Hakata Ekimae

Right next to Yodobashi Camera and behind Hakata Station, the area is lively at night with many Japanese restaurants. The hotel breakfast is a set meal with a cold buffet, coffee, and drinks. Parking costs 1500 yen per night. We actually missed the hotel's parking entrance and ended up parking at the electronics store's lot, which also cost 1500 yen for 24 hours (capped).

The hotel is quite close to the train and bus stations. Walking into the lobby, it felt stylish and sophisticated. The receptionist was very attentive, patiently explaining travel routes, tourist spots, and subway station locations. For breakfast, there are 6 set menus to choose from, all beautifully presented and delicious.

Extremely satisfied, it felt like a home away from home. The hotel is just a few minutes' walk from the train station, and Yodobashi Camera is right next door. There are several 24-hour convenience stores nearby, which is super convenient. On the 8th floor, there's a microwave and a vending machine, which is a thoughtful touch. We were also able to request a late check-out for 1000 yen per hour. We stayed for 5 consecutive nights.

The room was spotless. The front desk offered complimentary toiletries like toothbrushes, facial cleanser, lotion, and even face masks. The bathroom's bathtub was very clean, perfect for a relaxing soak after a long day. I really appreciated that the room wasn't cleaned daily, as it allowed me to leave my belongings spread out without worry. Every day, the staff would hang fresh towels and other amenities in a bag on the doorknob, and we could simply place used items in a bag outside the door for them to collect. The hotel breakfast was fantastic, and the location, very close to Hakata Station, was ideal. It's a great choice, and I'll definitely pick this hotel again on my next trip.

The location is superb! It's just a 5-6 minute walk after turning right from the Chikushi Exit. Plus, the bus to Fukuoka Airport is right in front of the Chikushi Exit, which is super convenient. Breakfast is semi-buffet style, where you can choose a set meal. The Japanese-style breakfast was quite good.

Terrible service, they were so unhelpful and indifferent. The front desk staff's English was awful, making communication incredibly difficult. Besides the good location, everything else was a letdown. Genuinely a very disappointing stay.
