The hotel room design is very Japanese, and the hotel is very quiet. Both the hotel entrance and rooms use electronic keypads for access. The self-check-in and check-out process is simple. The location is convenient, just a 5-minute walk to Tenjin-Minami subway station, but be aware that the closest exit doesn't have an elevator. You might need to walk a few extra minutes to another exit if you have heavy luggage. From Tenjin-Minami station, you can also explore the Tenjin underground shopping street, and if you have time, you can walk the entire length from Tenjin-Minami to Tenjin station. The photos provided by the hotel made the room look quite spacious, but in reality, if three people are staying, the space feels a bit small. After putting down two suitcases, there's only a small amount of space left to move around. One thing to note is that the hotel doesn't have any other facilities, and they don't offer bed linen changes or cleaning services. They only provide towel changes and trash disposal.

I didn't realize it was a self-service hotel when I booked, with no front desk. While check-in and check-out were convenient, this really should have been stated upfront. The room was quite small, and the air conditioning/ventilation wasn't great. The amenities were just about adequate, but the TV was decent. The location isn't particularly close to Tenjin-Minami Station. It was pouring rain that day, and I had to walk a long distance exposed to the elements. To top it off, the entrance requires a password, but the keypad was completely exposed to the rain.

The cleanliness was great and the location close to Tenjin was a big plus. However, the triple room I booked felt a bit cramped even for three women. Since it's a self-check-in property, there isn't much in terms of traditional service, but the towel exchange and email feedback were prompt, which I appreciated. The best part was that Don Quijote was just a 10-minute walk away in a straight line.

The sink was quite clogged, and there was a bit of dust around. I kept the window open the whole time. Still, the location was good, so that was a plus.

Located conveniently between Fukuoka's Nakasu and Tenjin areas, it was easy to get around, and the room was clean, allowing for a good night's sleep.

The room was clean and stylish, and the amenities were high quality. They were also very good about providing extra towels when requested.
