Hotel Reference Tenjin III

The hotel facilities are very new, and the hygiene is excellent. The room size, by Japanese standards, isn't small either. Perhaps those who complain about it are used to staying at the Ritz-Carlton? The surrounding neighborhood is also quite quiet. Highly recommended. Some reviews mentioned there was no window, only a balcony door, but I actually see the balcony as a plus. If I had to pick a con, it would be that the weekend rates are quite expensive, and breakfast is just a bento box. I'd advise against booking with breakfast; there are plenty of dining options nearby.

The hotel is conveniently located, about a 10-minute walk from Tenjin subway station and only 30 minutes from Fukuoka Airport. From here, you can also take a ferry to Korea for sightseeing. The photos show the cabin information for the Korea ferry and a nearby local ferry.

The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to help, always with a smile. The room was spacious, very comfortable, and impeccably clean. My only minor complaint is that it's a bit of a walk from the subway. If I come back to Fukuoka, I would definitely stay here again! 😊😊

The front desk service was excellent, and there's a self-service station with complimentary instant coffee. You need to take off your shoes when entering the room, which has a small balcony. The room corridor is open-plan. It's about a 15-minute walk from Tenjin Station.

The bedding was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was also spotless. It's very quiet around the hotel. The front desk staff were all friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

Aside from being a bit far from the station, I was extremely satisfied! My friend and I stayed for 4 nights and 5 days, and the room was spacious with a desk and a sofa, so we were very comfortable. You can get towels from the front desk, and they also provide water. What I was most satisfied with was the staff's kindness... I was so touched. They greeted us with a smile every time we left and came back, which made my mornings happy. Also, since my Japanese isn't great and I was having trouble understanding, they went out of their way to explain things by mixing English and Korean, which I really appreciated. The facilities were good, and the soundproofing was better than I expected, which was great! The soundproofing between rooms was good, but it seemed like the hallway wasn't as well-soundproofed. If I travel again, I'd definitely want to stay here again... Seriously. It's perfectly sufficient for two people!

I found the service here to be exceptionally good, especially during checkout; the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. I stayed for two nights and had no issues whatsoever with the cleanliness. The facilities are quite comprehensive and perfect for one or two people, but it might feel a bit small for families. Overall, I'm very satisfied!
