In addition to the location is quite far from the community, otherwise is all good.

We loved the fact that it was owned by a family. Felt very homey and cozy. Would definitely come again. It was the best experience for first timers visiting Mt Fuji/Lake Kawaguchiko area. Great price and loved the Onsen too!!

The guesthouse is lovely and if you are lucky you may see the mount Fuji from all the clouds. The walk to the lake is nice, through some small streets and plantations. It is quite remote in the sense that often you have to take a train, bus and a taxi to get to the guesthouse. So plan for the long travel. There was no pick-up service offered and when leaving we got a ride because another family had a baby with them, but then it had to be on their schedule.

I didn't like very poor facilities of a room, high price for such a hotel. Expensive but poor breakfast. The small pool is available only two hours. I wonder how this hotel received 9.2 points and status wonderful!

Comfortable stay in a charming and lovely guesthouse. Greeted with amazing views of Mt Fuji in the morning directly from the room. Good breakfast. Nice bathing facilities which you can book privately in the evening. Hosts were amazing and provided good recommendations for things to do throughout our stay. Walls are on the thinner side and we could sometimes hear other guests (some loud snorers in the night) but overall no problem. Would be happy to stay there again.

We needed a hotel for a two day hockey tournament in Kofu. We chose this hotel because of its location and affordability and it did not disappoint. It is located in a beautiful area and the view from our room of Mount Fuji and the fall colors was amazing! I travelled with my 12 year old and 5 year old and had a twin room. At check in the owner was very informative and told me all about what meal options they had and asked if we would be partaking. We passed because of our game schedule but the options looked good. He also gave me a nice big map of the area with things to do and allowed us to reserve a private onsen after our late night game which we loved. I especially appreciated it since I have tattoos and usually cannot use onsens. There were two robes in the room to use and towels as well. The room also has a nice deep soaking tub if onsen is not your thing. They had a nice big lounge area just past reception and I also saw an outside deck area. I’d love to come back here for a romantic get away with my my husband.

It was nice to be able to see Mt. Fuji from the room. Maybe it's because many things are outdated, but it can't be helped since it's a guesthouse, but it didn't feel very clean. Unfortunately, the toilet bowl in the room remained dirty. The owners, a married couple, were very kind and courteous, which left a good impression.

I searched for and made a reservation for a nearby accommodation to participate in the lantern floating event held at Lake Kawaguchi. It looked old from the outside, but the room and public bath were clean and very nice. I stayed overnight without meals, but there are no convenience stores nearby, so I think it would be better to get food around Lake Kawaguchi, which is about 1.6km away. There are vending machines for beer and juice in the public bath, and the prices are normal and very good. The customer service was also polite and gave a good impression.

When I was looking for accommodation near Oishi Park, a sightseeing destination with a good view of Mt. Fuji, I found Sakuya. The price was low and the accommodations and facilities were what we were looking for. It was my first time staying here with my kids, but I trusted the reviews and found out that it was truly a Hanamaru place! It seems like it's run by a couple, so I was able to experience their kindness, kindness, and politeness! Thank you very much for your help this time! I would like to take care of you when you visit again! It was the first time for my family to go to a bathhouse and it was amazing! !
