We undortunately we‘re here for only one Night on our Roadtrip. And incredibly enough, I had my best Night of Sleep in my 1 month trip to Asia, due to the cozyness and atmosphere of the place. I will absolutely come back for a longer time. Only negative point was the early Check Out, which was at 10 AM, but we were not apprehended for checking out a bit later.

Our trip to Lake Kawaguchiko with Mount Fuji was a fresh and exciting experience! We got to see Mount Fuji and also enjoy a campfire and camping. It's perfect for families, couples too, and the atmosphere was absolutely amazing! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 The location isn't super close to Kawaguchiko Station; it's about an 11-minute taxi ride, so it's more suitable for those with their own car. Along the way, you'll see a pretty big daily necessities shopping area worth exploring. At the hotel's entrance, there's a burger joint, a pizza place, and a steak restaurant, all of which are quite good. The hotel has its own shuttle bus 🚌. To get picked up from Kawaguchiko Station to the campsite, you need a Japanese phone number to call and book in advance. There's no shuttle service on weekends. For the return trip to Kawaguchiko, you can book with the front desk beforehand, and they'll drop off both people! We didn't know this and only found out by chance when we met other guests taking the shuttle! An 11-minute ride saved us over a hundred yen in taxi fares, sniff sniff~ PAO is the tent area ⛺, and Villa is the small villa area 🏡. For first-timers, I'd recommend the small villas. The tools and facilities explanations there are more comprehensive and complete, plus they have a private hot tub! For those in the tent area, the restrooms are outside the tent, which is a bit inconvenient. Both areas can use the large public bath in the lobby, which is separated by gender. The email mentioned that outside food is not allowed, and breakfast and dinner require ordering the hotel's set meals to cook yourself. However, the room comes with a bundle of firewood and a portable stove. In the PAO area, you can experience chopping wood, and we were given a glass bottle to remind us to try fetching water from Mount Fuji. There's also an 'Easter egg hunt' activity where you can exchange a certain number of finds for small gifts. This camping spot encourages building a fire for warmth 🔥, but remember to operate it correctly and safely in designated areas. On a clear night, sitting outdoors by the fire with a blanket, gazing at the stars, creates an incredibly atmospheric experience 🌌. Even though it was my first time and I didn't do extensive research, I already think it's unbeatable. Coming here as a family was much more interesting and fun than just seeing the lake, cherry blossoms, and shopping in Kawaguchiko. We had a blast! 🥰🥰🥰

We were so impressed when we checked in around 6pm—Mt. Fuji was perfectly clear! The reception staff were very thoughtful, explaining the onsen, activities, and double-checking our booking. They even guided us to the camping site and let us fill bottles with Mt. Fuji’s pure mineral water—so welcoming. Breakfast and BBQ dinner were excellent, with fresh ingredients and tasty meat. The staff were very helpful during the night-time BBQ—amazing service! The private toilet, shower, and onsen were very clean. Convenient location near a supermarket, and we even saw Mt. Fuji again when checking out. We’ll definitely come back!

I wish I could give this location a 100/5, as the beautiful views if Mount Fuji were unmatched! This resort was amazing and the facilities were thoughtfully curated with all you need for a fantastic stay outside of a city area of Japan. I was lucky to see Mount Fuji clearly when I stayed, which added to the magic of my glamping experience! I would definitely return to this location and would highly recommend others to travel here!

Pros: Close to nature with beautiful scenery. They focus on the experience, and both breakfast and dinner are self-cooked. If you book in advance for a weekday, they can drop you off at the station. The staff are very polite. Cons: Transportation isn't very convenient. You have to take a taxi from Kawaguchiko Station, and taxis are hard to come by – you might wait around 40 minutes. The hotel only offers pickup service for guests with a Japanese mobile number. Check-out time at 10:00 AM is too early. Breakfast ingredients are delivered at 8 AM, so by the time you cook, eat, clean up, and wash the dishes, it's already check-out time. You also have to wash your own dishes after breakfast and dinner, but the tap water in the mountains in early spring is freezing cold. The Pao (yurt/tent) is quite damp and has a musty smell; even the curtains are moldy.
