This hotel seems to be an older, classic resort. While the facilities are a bit dated, the overall service is quite good. Just remember to close your balcony door at night to keep out bugs. It's best to check the weather beforehand to see if you can catch a glimpse of Mount Fuji. The Kaiseki dinner offered a good variety in terms of ambiance and dishes. Overall, I was very satisfied.

Oh my goodness it was the worst place ever, the room we got had huge spiders everywhere (at least 4), luckily we checked the ceilings but what a shock. I believe there’s some infestation as when we asked to change room, the second room also had a spider. There’s no apology from front desk so I think they knew about this issue. The second room that they gave us was also not properly cleaned, someone’s nail extensions was on the floor Do not get this place at all, we just slept at left early next morning. Didn’t even dare to use the in-room shower but went down to the public bath instead.

The hotel offers excellent service and is very clean, plus it has a mountain-view terrace. Personally, I found the entire building and its facilities to be quite old. For example, my kettle didn't automatically shut off after boiling, and both the plug and cord became hot. I also saw large cockroaches twice in the semi-outdoor private spa area at night. I didn't complain to the hotel because, in old buildings, cockroaches are unavoidable. My only hope was that they wouldn't get into the hot tub or the room itself. (I was unlucky with rainy weather, so I couldn't see Mount Fuji behind the clouds.)

Non peak season…. Onsen was empty and has nice view of Mt Fuji…Half boarding for 2 nights, food does not repeat wide variety well balanced and reasonably good… alcohol selection is slightly limited but those available goes well with the food served… quiet and peaceful surroundings…

There is a park opposite this hotel. I have a walk at the park before the breakfast. We can view Mt Fuji from our room and bathroom. We love this room very much. Worth to stay at this hotel even is old, but is clean. We also view Mt Fuji from the hotel platform.

It is a real privilege that the hotel features an observation deck on the highest floor; when Mt. Fuji is visible, the view is absolutely breathtaking. The hospitality here is excellent, and the reception staff speaks clear English, making check-in a breeze. Additionally, the hotel offers a convenient shuttle service from Kawaguchiko Station. You simply need to visit the station's tourist information counter and mention your stay; they will call the hotel, and a shuttle will be sent to pick you up. There is also hot spring available for the hotel guest.
