Located conveniently inside the Frankfurt Am Main Airport, the hotel reflects Sheraton's high standards. The room is clean and bed is comfortable. Breakfast is rich and variegated. Special mention to Mr Sergio who assisted me through a very smooth check-in.

This is the accommodation I took to use Frankfurt Airport due to a business trip. It is located at the 1st stop of the accommodation and airport subway, and the office space for business travelers is neatly organized in the room, and there is a sofa, so it was convenient to use.

The interior of the room is clean and tidy, but I forgot to take pictures. The hotel has a pick-up and drop-off service in Terminal 1 near the entrance and exit of the railway station, which is usually convenient for half an hour. (Terminal 2 needs to take the airport bus to Terminal 1) When we went there, we didn't know that there was such a service, and we spent more than 20 euros on a taxi. It is also very convenient to go to the urban area. You can reach the urban area by taking S8 and S9 at the airport train station.

This hotel is the red headed step child to the Sheraton next door. There is no lounge at this hotel (The one in the Sheraton is closed too). You get breakfast, which is quite good, instead...but of course it's at the Sheraton. Also, the Sheraton lounge, which you're supposed to have access to is closed with some strange green lock box on it. The room was nice, and spotless. Finding it was very easy by car using Google Maps, but the crowd of people smoking around the parking garage entrance smelled terrible and wafted a bit into the hotel. After I dropped off my car at the rental desk (In Terminal 2), figuring out that I had to go to Terminal 1 kind of like going to the banhoff there was confusing at best. Everything closes here at 10:30, even room service, so don't expect food if you get in late beyond some cold things in the display case. The room itself was great. I was upgraded to a suite with two bathrooms, and a living room. The master bathroom vent did not work, so you you did anything smelly in that bathroom, you would have to live with it for some time. Fortunately, I soon realized that the vent in the ”guest bathroom” worked, so handled those things there. The biggest issue was the electrical. There are master switches that turn everything off. Some are on the bed, some are by the doors, if you turn that off, then you can't turn on any bathroom light without going back to the bed, turning on all the switches on the side of the bed until you get the master one...then blinding yourself because you've turned on every light in the room accidentally. Super confusing. The plus side is there is a nice not blinding light near the bed you can use...if you can figure out what to turn on/off to get it on by itself. The refrigerator is one of those stupid vending fridges like they have in Vegas etc...but they aren't using it (yet?) so there is no room in there for your stuff. 2 German beers and a water bottle, and you're done. The internet was a just okay 30Mbps. It was surprisingly quiet in spite of being between a train station and an airport. Also, to the author of ”“Hard to find and no privacy in bathroom”, an earlier review, complaining about the X and Y on the wall as towel hangers...perhaps you didn't notice the other letters everywhere else too. This hotel is located about 20 miles away from Maintz, where Gutenberg invented the printing press. Your subtle slap in the face really was just your lack of education and American privilege showing.

Didn't reply to the hotel's pre-arrival request for guest information, and while waiting (a long time) to check-in I couldn't see or figure out what the benefits would have been if I'd completed that pre-arrival form. The free shuttle bus stand at Frankfurt airport was almost impossible to find in all the stupid construction zones and I arrived at the hotel well after midnight. (If anybody ever tries to mention how efficient the Germans are, I'll present Frankfurt airport as glaring evidence to the contrary.) It was 50/50 with the hotel check-in staff: the gent at the non-aircrew part of the front desk took ages with the young family who sounded like they were repeatedly asking for something that was not possible. Those of us in the queue behind grew increasingly despaired - would any of us actually be able to use the hotel rooms we paid for that night? I was the third person who abandoned this hopeless queue and went to the ”aircrew only” part of the desk for help. Much much better! Checked in quickly with pleasant small talk to boot and I was in my comfortable room a few minutes later. When checking out the next morning I half expected to see that tedious young family still arguing with the front desk.

After a long time I was back in Kelsterbach area at my usual Ibis Frankfurt Airport and Voila .... on my way to Ibis on the shuttle bus from Frankfurt Airport I see this sign in German ” Indisches Restaurant in Kelsterbach” and I was like ” WOW” .... there you are after staying here for about 7 years pre-pandemic and having almost no options to eat i am here ... back after a 3 year gap forced by the pandmeic and there is this Indian Restaurant .... which is actually a part of this Sunset Hotel in Kelsterbach .. I have been eating all thru my stay as this is open only for Dinner 5 pm to 9 pm as the timig says on the door .... great Indian food so far all 4 days i have been eating different dishes from the not so big menu .... tastes nice , their indian breads are also well done much better than the typical Indian restaurants in Europe serve ... I would just say ” they stay for a long time here ” all the good luck to the gentleman who runs this place and also kudos to the person who owns this property and have envisioned having an Indian restaurant of out of all the choices .... I would suggest one and all to visit this place when you are around Frankfurt Airport and enjoy the food ...... without any hesitation from my experience . The rooms are small but well equipped and very clean. If it is a double occupancy, remember to ask for another quilt (the quilt is super small), and the coffee machine next to the front desk is awesome. If it is an overnight transfer without inbound luggage, it is very suitable. But if you want to pick up your luggage halfway, don't book it, because you have to go out of the country and then re-check in, and then re-enter, and you have to go through security checks. It was very convenient for us to stay one night through the direct luggage transfer on our outbound trip. We couldn't take out our luggage through the direct luggage transfer on our return trip because it was too late (22:00) and the security check and immigration were off duty, so we didn't even get to stay. So embarrassing.

A very pleasant stay again: especially since rooms to the parking place in the 4th floor very quiet, so you could sleep well at open window. A pleasant air conditioning facilitated a good night rest. The seat on the entrance, very protected, allows a good switching after a long day with freshly swallowed beer. Very friendly, helpful and premature staff at both the bar and reception and at breakfast buffet gives the feeling of being appreciated and welcome; it would be unfair to highlight a person namely, Because this applies to all hits! . Small problems have been solved very quickly and extra wishes have also been smoothly fulfilled. Thank you to all who have allowed this work stay so pleasantly.

Few useful bullets point for you. • 2 hours waiting for dinner • Asking to clean my room 3 times in a day without success • Missed belongings without chance to receive back • High prices • Small room • Water all over the bathroom whenever you try to take a shower • no hangers in the wardrobe, you ask for them and they don't bring them to you • Only two elevators always busy • On Sunday no Restaurant, no Bar: no Service You welcome to try at your risk!

I needed a hotel for one night near Frankfurt Airport and this hotel was a perfect match. It’s about 10 minutes by car from the airport and I was met with a friendly smile at the reception. The check-in went smoothly and I had my room ready in less than 5 minutes. The room itself was comfortable and quiet, I had a good night sleep. I didn’t have breakfast in the hotel but it is available if needed. Overall it’s a good quality hotel at a great price point.
