Hotels in Fox Glacier Reviews

Bella Vista Motel Fox Glacier
4.3/525 Reviews
I went to the glacier, it was cold, there was a heater on the wall, but the sound was loud. There are electric blankets on the bed. There is no microwave in the stove. It's very close to Fox Glacier on the opposite side, which is very convenient.
The Westhaven Motel

The boss is a Chinese couple, has no barriers to communication, is very enthusiastic, and sends milk. Fox Glacier is a small town, so it's actually convenient to live anywhere. Overall it is a pretty good motel.
Ivorytowers Backpacker Lodge

This house in Fox, I forgot to take my wallet when I left, and kept it for me for 3 days. I returned from Queenstown to take it again, thank you. There is a super super big kitchen, a lot of tableware, and the proprietress is warm and refreshing. I arrived at noon, and they asked to check in. In fact, I don't recommend it for the entire western route, because the mountain road is not easy to walk. It's better to leave more time to live somewhere for 2 more days, and you can hike without children. This one is also 2 large and 1 small, and it was given 3 single beds. Actually we only used 2 of them. It is a faucet that mixes water~~convenient
Sunset Motel

Fox Glacier Town is particularly small, this location is a little outside, and there is a large backyard facing the snow mountain. Facilities are also complete with a kitchenette. But I made it clear that I had a double breakfast room, and I paid double breakfast, but I was told the hotel would cost S $ 12 (although there was nothing to eat for breakfast), and I said that there was never any breakfast. This Ctrip needed explain
Distinction Fox Glacier - Te Weheka Boutique Hotel
4.4/521 Reviews
We stayed two nights at the delightful Te Weheka Distinction hotel at Fox Glacier, and found it to be a very pleasant experience, made doubly so by the informative, helpful and friendly manager, Christian. Upon arrival, he explained everything we needed to know about ensuring a great visit, particularly advising us to be up and at the glacier viewpoint, and lake Matheson, before 10 am so as to ensure a clear sky and best view of the mountains and glacier. This was spot on advice, and our views next morning were framed in brilliant blue sky, not a cloud in sight. He also recommended a great restaurant nearby, Betsey Jane’s, which was so good we booked again the second night. The room itself was on the second floor, spacious, well appointed, spotlessly clean, with roomy bathroom including shower and bath. Well stocked tea and coffee making facilities. The view was pleasant and there was a small balcony. Breakfast is included and is a very nicely presented, wide range of fruit and cereals then several cooked options. Again, the service here was attentive and friendly. There is a very nice lounge available to relax in and guest laundry facilities too. We enjoyed our stay here very much, thanks Christian, for your advice and attention to detail.
Heartland Hotel Fox Glacier
3.6/511 Reviews
The hotel is very good. The room was very satisfying, the heating was adequate, and it didn't feel cold in winter. There are also Chinese staff at the front desk. There are restaurants and bars, but they didn't go. The location is very good, next door is the seasons and shops of the two tourist companies, the intercity bus station is also there, very close. The only bad thing is that the room is too poorly soundproofed.
