Havener's

The trip advisor review tip is “the pillows were the fluffiest I’ve ever had”, and in fact they were! More than that, the staff are so nice. We really enjoyed our stay :)

A fantastic hotel right on the harbour front. Staff were very pleasant and welcoming. It is in the centre of an authentic old Cornwall village. The Harbour Masters house modernised to a very high standard. Cant recommend it highly enough, bet you'd be lucky to book in the summer months. Would definitely go again. A huge thanks to the staff for making us so welcome.

Stunning views from the self catering apartment. Excellent facilities. Plenty of room and all mod cons provided. Recently refurbished. Wonderfully comfortable beds, linen and towels. We also opted for the excellent breakfasts in the conservatory.

We stayed for 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The staff gave us a warm and friendly welcome and continued to give excellent service throughout. Our room was the one in the picture, lovely view, extra comfortable bed and great pillows, good bathroom, and nice toiletries. We ate a delicious Jamaican meal in the bar (Jamaican food week while we were there), good choice of wines at reasonable prices. Good choices for breakfast. Highly recommended. We stayed as part of the Rooms for Reward scheme.Highly

The weather wasn't great but our stay at Havener's was! Lovely clean and comfortable room. There were a few ******* and these were sorted out immediately on reporting them. Staff were friendly, helpful and professional. Breakfasts were superb. We also ate in the restaurant and the food was very good.

Stayed at the Havener's for two nights in a lovely room overlooking the quay and estuary. The room was very clean very comfortable with everything we needed. We had both breakfast and our evening meal in the restaurant and all were superb. Lee the general manager and all his staff made us feel very welcome and made sure our stay was brilliant. Thanks everyone?

We stayed for a couple of nights as a family with young children in the waterfront apartment which was absolutely beautiful and had everything you could possibly need for a relaxing break away. A few games were also provided much to our children’s delight!! The food in the restaurant was very good for both breakfast and lunch and the lady waiting on in the morning was a delight and couldn’t do enough for us. The staff at Haveners were as always brilliant and we cannot thank them enough for the service and looking after us for our short stay! Overall we highly recommend and we always look forward to coming back as soon as we possibly can!

Our whole experience from walking through the door to leaving was amazing. We had help with our luggage up to our room which was delightful. Small but beautifully thought out and everything there. We are in the restaurant and the food was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was quick timely great selection and plenty of it. We will certainly return. Only one regret we didn’t realise until on the way home that we didn’t tip the gentleman in shorts who so kindly came to our room and took our luggage back downstairs. Apologies we will make up for it when we return

The weekend was made enjoyable by the friendliness of Lee and his staff who went out of their way to look after us. Food was very good lovely breakfast, and the rooms were clean and the beds very comfortable. The Haveners is in a lovely spot on the Quay and is handy for the town.
