This is a remodeled Raddison, so of course its a nice hotel. Unfortunately, the brought in a management company to save money, and boy does it show. After arriving and being verbally berated by a sexist GM, who made me cry in the front lobby- in front of all his employees- and told me that's a ”Me problem, not a WE problem”/ I should get my emotions under control. After this, he had his staff stalk me around to sign a new contract under duress. The rest of our stay, we got to see him run and hide from us when we walked by, stand up on the big staircase and glare at us and watch us. I paid a LOT of money to be at that hotel, and I felt like I was begging them to take my business. I called the managment company, and they didnt seem to want to deal with me at all about this. Braydon Skelton is one of the worst people I have ever met in my life. After a stressful check in, we experienced some of the worst food we ever have had at a hotel (except the sandwiches, those were amazing). Only one waitress for breakfast in the morning, no free coffee either. When we had a dinner of sweet potatoes with capers (so gross), I spit out the first bite i took. After I thought this was the worst dinner i ever had, a nice big big cockroach crawled onto our dinner table to help us eat. Immediately we left that room and ordered a pizza from down the street. Overall, I felt fearful, scared, unappreciated and abused at this hotel. I called the management company and never heard back from them. The GM Braden made a half hearted attempt to reach out to me but never got a hold of me. Honestly, I was scared and fearful to even answer the phone. It sucks, because we have been repeat customers of this hotel before they changed management in December. I would recommend this hotel for people only passing through, but not for events. and If you care about people and how other people treat customers or humans.. I would NOT recommend this hotel. For the record, I have been waiting for a couple weeks to write this to see if someone from management company would reach out to me about my terrible experience, and they did not.

The location is very convenient, originally the small town is not big, it seems very delicate in Texas. Walking to eat, just strolling, comfortable, P, the hotel has a good old grandfather, will give you some advice.

The stay was just average. I did not receive room service during my stay. I had to request fresh towels as needed. My first morning on the property they closed breakfast early. I always enjoy the hot tea that is readily available and the hotel decor of Tru by Hilton hotels. The location is ok and was a decent amount of time away from everywhere that I needed to go.

Back to my alma mater, stayed at the hotel near the school, ate the best The Dutch's burger, Fruitealicious was still open, drank classic pearl milk tea, held a membership card to enjoy the best gym in the United States, and went to the business school to study for yourself. It was a pleasant business trip holiday! Our TCU is getting better and better, Go Frogs!

I needed a room block for a group of wheelchair-bound teenagers coming to DFW for a basketball tournament. They're the coolest group of kids you could ever hope to meet, and the DOS/GM, Kim Chong, initially was very responsive and offered a great rate. Then she stopped responding to me. It took me two days to get the booking link she'd promised because she wasn't competent enough to send it to the correct email. Then she denied the kids the ADA rooms that we'd been promised, stating the hotel doesn't have them. Either she was lying or in violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act. Unfortunately, Kim is so incompetent that she didn't look to see what was going on in her own market that weekend: Cowboys playoff game, UIL Cheerleading, Ft. Worth stock show and rodeo. I wouldn't have offered a $78 rate that weekend! If I had, though, I do at least have enough integrity to stick to my word. Kim? Not so much. She canceled all of our rooms four days before we were supposed to arrive, leaving 10 disabled teenagers and their parents, as well as the two volunteer coaches, with nowhere to stay. This is discriminatory and gross. I'm hearing from my friends in the area that this was a blessing in disguise. One friend knows multiple people who've had their vehicles broken into here, and their property is tired and desperately in need of an update. The customer service is atrocious, and they have zero leadership. Apparently, Kim is the only manager and she is NEVER THERE. Run far away. You'll be glad you did.

I booked a room, dinner, valet parking, and a spa treatment as a gift for a friend. She really enjoyed the hotel. She loved her massage at the spa, and she said dinner at Whiskey & Rye was good. I’m glad she enjoyed her stay so I definitely feel like it was worth it, but this is my first time dealing with a luxury hotel and I’m a bit surprised that everything seemed so difficult. For starters, I booked the room online. I called to confirm I’d done so correctly because it was a gift and I didn’t want any problems. Initially, I was told the room needed to be in my name and that my friend could be listed as an extra person in the room. I was told that the manager would email me a credit card authorization form and that I’d need to fill it out and fax it back by a certain date. I never received a form so I called back. I was told that the room needed to be in my friend’s name and that I’d be emailed the authorization and I could email it back when I filled it out. I got an authorization link but it wasn’t a form I was meant to fill out, it was just for prepayment but it was listed for $0. I called back again and asked to talk to a manager just to make sure there wouldn’t be any issues. He set me up with everything and said he’d email the authorization. It never came through so I had to call back. Eventually, I got the proper authorization link and prepaid. My friend had no issues with her stay. One thing I found annoying was that I prepaid for a 50-minute massage at the spa. I also paid for a $50 activity credit for dinner. I noticed I was overcharged and my friend said her card was charged as well despite the manager assuring me they just needed her card on file, that I’d be the only one with charges for the accommodations, taxes, and incidentals. Again, I had to call several times and ended up never being able to speak to who I needed to. I emailed corporate and I got connected to who I needed to, but it’s a process and each email reply takes 24-48 hours. I was told that the massage actually costs $50 more than the credit I’d paid for, which seems misleading. I’m not sure why they wouldn’t attach a monetary value to the spa credit instead of advertising it as a fully paid 50 minute massage. Because of that, the credit I’d purchased to cover dinner was applied to the spa treatment, which meant I’d paid $52 for dinner out of incidentals. It’s not a huge issue, but it just feels misleading. The charge on my friend’s card also fell off and I was told that someone should’ve explained she’d have a hold placed on that card in the event of damages. No one did, and I would’ve paid more toward the room and incidentals initially if I’d known that. I’m really glad my friend enjoyed her stay but I don’t know if I’d feel inclined to book here again in the future. The added packages seem more like a headache than just paying for stuff outright. Okay property, crappy internet, thin walls, noisy hallways and most importantly very rude and unprofessional staff. As a Diamond member, that’s well aware of Hilton standards, im utterly appalled by the way I was treated by the Front Desk Night Auditor. She was rude and full of sarcasm. I was given misinformation from a front desk staff member(s) and instead of apologizing or attempting to correct the error politely, she sarcastically continued to indirectly taunt me about the misinformation. She then calls the GM, places him on speaker phone for him to say “yeah she’s right” no empathy, no concern, no reconciliation. Then when I while attempting to prove my point (since when I let him know that the clerk was rude/sarcastic the GM says that he will rewind the camera to verify that she wasn’t rude or sarcastic), he couldn’t rewind the camera to verify that the information I was given earlier was given while he, pest control and some one else was at the desk. I should’ve known the GM wasn’t concerned because he doesn’t speak, he wasn’t inviting. I mentioned my being a Diamond guest, his rebuttal was I know what’s expected he’s at Diamond status as well. Moral of the story is that it’s not what you do but how you do it. I stayed with intermittent internet service. I stay through the horrible smell coming from a neighboring room. I stayed through the constant noise from the highway, the slamming of doors all night and the paper thin walls. They want the money but they sure as heck aren’t willing to be HOSPITABLE which ultimately should be the goal. Needless to say, I’m checking out and will forewarn others to by all means avoid this place if you’re seeking quality, comfortable stay. I only chose here because it was near a job site. I’ll travel to avoid this place. It’s a rip off. If they treat Diamond guests like this, imagine what they do to others that aren’t.

It was a very spacious room. That's the biggest plus to it. The staff is pretty friendly. The location is right by quick trip so it is pretty convient. Only negative thing was there needed to be new light bulbs in the closet because you can't see anything if u put stuff in there.

Avoid this hotel! Our room was gross on arrival. The smell was the worse. The first room, our bathtub was full of hair and a dirty bath cloth. Something very nasty was smeared across the wall above the trash, and the air did not cool. We asked for another room and were moved. The second room was clean but still had a foul smell. The closet shelf/pole fell on my son. They came much later and fixed only for it to fall again. Our toilet handle broke and it took 2 days to fix it. We had to call the corporate office to get someone in the room to fix the toilet. The front desk would not address it. The advertised shuttle was not running. The bar was fully open, but the advertised restaurant was closed because the cook did not show for 2 nights. (Pretty sure that was against the state health departments mandate). We had several friends in different rooms with other issues. The coffee makers not working, tv not working, refrigerator not cooling etc. To top our bad experience off... at checkout the bill had so many extra charges that we are still disputing that it doubled our cost. We have called for a week and cannot get a manager, and are told he is the only one that can help us. I have finally called the corporate office again and waiting a response. I disputed the charges at check out also, but was told then there was not manager on-site and the front desk could not fix it.
