I'm a travel agent and believed this hotel to be a little jewel among a bunch of standard and unexciting big name hotels. I sent a wonderful family of 13 to stay here after they disembarked a cruise and I regret it to my core. While Tanya (general manager) was incredible over the phone and during all the issues that arose, there were rooms with mold, rusty outlets, unsafe bathrooms, and very questionable stains on the floors. Even after moving my two rooms to upgraded suites (which they did without us asking) one of those families couldn't stay as the bathtub wouldn't drain, there were bugs on towels and it was just a very uncomfortable situation for them. When I tried to get compensation to try and repair the damage to my client's vacation, I was told the hotel was refusing to compensate them at all because they accepted the upgrades that were offered. I'm disgusted at what I saw through pictures and hope this place gets re-assessed soon. Also, the pictures are misleading, there's no longer a restaurant on the circular verandah. Again, Tanya was incredible, but everything else was severely lacking, go with a clean and common option instead of this establishment!
