The Armstrong Hotel
"I had a wonderful stay at The Armstrong Hotel this past Easter weekend. This was a staycation while I hung out with some friends who live in Windsor. So, I didn't do much on the main drag of College Avenue. But it seemed like a bustling and exciting place. The room was well kept and clean, and the front desk staff were nice and welcoming. The bed was very comfortable, and the water pressure was great. I requested a luggage rack, and someone placed in into my room with no problem. I would definitely return to stay again. Maybe the 3rd floor next time. I was on the second floor and bless the cleaning staff for all they do, but they are fast and furious with that vacuum cleaner in the morning. That was the bulk of the noise I experienced. Not terrible. The parking was convenient, and close by. My only critique is that the parking lot next to the Bohlender Funeral Chapel needs some light at night. When returning late at night, the parking lot is extremely dark. And some cars were double parked. I read some reviews about the loudness of the train that goes down the next block on Mason Street. It wasn't bad. You should always travel with earplugs, but the hotel provided ear plugs which was a nice touch."

"One of the cleanest and nicer La Quintas I've ever stayed in. It includes a nice weight room, updated lobby, abundant parking and it is next to I-25. I didn't try the pool or jacuzzi, but they looked good as well."

"This hotel was horrible! Not worth the money at all! Breakfast wasn’t even included. When we got to the room a piece of the wood fell off the area around the desk and it was right by our bed so it was not very safe. There was a pull out couch with no blankets and pillows and when I went down to the front desk and asked for these things I was told they do not provide pillows because there is enough pillows on the bed. They gave us 1 blanket for the bed, thank god we had an extra blanket in our car. I just stayed at an awesome hotel in Florida for 4 nights for the same price as this hotel for 1 night - and that hotel was so nice and clean and up to date. I think I deserve at least a fifty percent refund if not more…"
