This hotel was one of the best we have ever stayed at. We were met at the desk by one of the nicest & most pleasant people (Makesh - spelling?). He got us checked in, gave us personalized water bottles and maps to help us get around. The next day, Sasha helped me out w/her own personal sewing kit & lots of talk about her home & the travel experiences we had in common overseas. Every member of the staff that we encountered seemed to be happy/cheerful. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was high carb. :) Nice wt room.

We recently stayed here for a one night girl's trip. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. PROS: Location - right off 400, close to lots of stores and restaurants, 15 mi to N Ga Outlets, Starbucks, food, gas all very close Parking - plenty of spaces, self parking, no charge the park The hotel did not seem crowded, which was nice. No lines/waiting/hassle Heated indoor pool - our girls used this and enjoyed it Friendly Staff - they were cheerful and check in/check out was easy & painless They accommodated early check in request (1 hr), high floor and same floor rooms Room - comfortable beds, clean and spacious (esp the suite) Clever touches (”firm” and ”soft” stitched into the pillow cases, plenty of hooks, built in bench for luggage, desk with lots of charging ports) Mini fridge in room that wasn't crammed with items for sale (they should consider adding a few gratis liquid creamers for the coffee - powdered creamer is blech!) It was quiet at night in spite of being near the hwy and in a busy commercial area Hot breakfast was included with our rate CONS: This is not a luxury hotel - no valet, room service, spa, etc. but you don't PAY for that Some areas of our room showed its age - chipped paint, cabinetry a little worn In room coffee was terrible (but that's true for most hotel chains at this price point) Hot breakfast was just ok, nothing amazing but there were plenty of choices Front desk staff was thin - once when we called, no one answered; another time they were in the back and we had to call out to them to have them come talk to us Security - anyone could walk in the front; elevators did not require key to access upper floors; exterior doors on the sides did require key access (thank goodness!) Overall, it was a solid choice for what we were doing. I would recommend it for those who are looking for a clean, comfortable stay without breaking the bank.

Great hotel with 24-hour coffee hot tea buffet. Breakfast was delicious and came out against the wall every time. When checking out, be sure to tell the front desk that you have booked a Ctrip order, otherwise you will be charged the room rate (maybe my English is too poor, I thought people would help me unfreeze, so I handed in my credit card) but the front desk is very good After I had a business card and told me that she would call the company to withdraw, so there was no expenditure on the credit card statement received a few days after returning home. No money for parking, it's around the business district, convenient A few words of reminder: 1. No one wants to swim in the swimming pool 2. If you missed the cleaning, it must be before 17:00, otherwise no one will clean. But I asked for a change of towel, and the front desk was very nice to help me change it. 3. If you have booked more than one room, show the name of the person who booked the room: I made a joke here. I booked 2 rooms. At first I said it was booked in my name. Then I gave the front desk brother 4 big and 2 small passports. I said we were not enough, and then he silently made two room cards for the same room. I explained to him that I had booked 2 rooms, but he said that only one room was found, and then I checked the names of other people, only to find that another room was booked. Haha, so! Learning English is important! !! !!

With children, and now two grandchildren, in the Cumming area, my wife and I have stayed at the Comfort Suites in Cumming some 20 times. We are Choice Gold members. The hotlel has NOT improved the hotel on multiple fronts. They have also failed to take seriously the COVID-19 pandemic. Our most recent stay was in early October, 2020. What do we notice when we arrive...few guests, and NONE of the staff wearing masks. TO us, this was an indication of their lack of serious commitment to guests. In the past, this hotel was a clean, affordable and acceptable option for us. But the ”clean” portion of that isn't what it used to be. What's more, this time our bathroom was unacceptably substandard - it looked like it had been remodeled by an elementary school class: ill hung shower doors, terrible caulking with gaps and smears of grout or caulking all over the shower. I told the manager who kept saying he was ”sorry”, but couldn't comprehend that HE was at fault for allowing such piss poor work to pass in the first place! While the rooms are fairly clean and comfortable, the lobby, halls and common areas are too dark and dingy. The breakfast offerings continue to be pretty standard & they have accommodated the offerings for pandemic circumstances. THIS PLACE NEEDS UPDATING: NEW paint, carpet, furniture, breakfast menu...new & serious STAFF would help too. There's a new Country Suites being built 1/2 block away...and more options elsewhere. We'll be at the Fairfield Inn next time...I'm a disappointed Choice Gold Card member. The Comfort Suites in Cumming is not worth it for the price.
