Category hotel, it was a pleasant surprise to enjoy the beauty of Ischia. The choice was right because, in addition to having all the comforts (panoramic solarium, swimming pool, spa and beauty farm, gym, ample places to spend a pleasant day and a vineyard for walks) it is located in a not very crowded place of forio, but not far away, just long enough for a walk along the seafront. The cuisine is refined and extensive, only for dinner, while at lunchtime there is a snack bar service where you can eat a simple but tasty dish for very little (I appreciated la.zingara). The type of room is very varied, from the poolside, to the vineyard, to the sea view, in every corner of the hotel you can enjoy the peace and relaxation that a summer day requires. The only note on the care of the greenery, some areas are deliberately left "barren", perhaps it is a characteristic of the island. Also in other structures I noticed the same "philosophy", don't expect Italian gardens Over time this too is appreciated. The staff is very kind, with its Director in the first place, always present and ready to pamper its customers. Having said that I highly recommend it, I will certainly be back.

Abbiamo soggirnato solo due giorni per una pausa veloce. La posizione è ottima per raggiungere il centro di Forio oppure per andare al parco termale Poseidon.
Il soggiorno, seppur breve, è stato di puro relax grazie alle piscine termali, sauna e solarium da cui ammirare lo stesso splendido tramonto che si può godere dalla chiesa del soccorso di Forio. Le camere sono perfettamente pulite e la colazione abbondante. Non appena possibile, ci torneremo.

I can't give it a terrible review because they switched my rooms the next day. BUT, the first room had a gas leak. I could smell it, and they switched us to a tiny room that smelled musty and had one tiny window. So we left the door open but all the mosquitoes got in. The property hasn't been maintained so that's why the reviews are not great. It's quite sad, because the outdoor pools "look" nice, but the tiles are coming off. And finally when we got our big room, you can't even keep the doors open. The beds weren't comfortable. For the price we paid, it was "acceptable" so we stayed another night. Breakfast was super basic, and clearly they didn't have many guests. The nicest person was the guy working at the desk. He was lovely. But our first night there was really terrible. The masseuse was amazing. One of the best I've had. I wish I could give her 10 stars. it would be so costly to renovate this hotel, but it has a lot of potential. Even clay courts if you play tennis. But alas, time has passed and it didn't feel luxurious. The coffee in the morning was also terrible - we couldn't drink it. I hate to write such a bad review, but this hotel is definitely not up to American standards. Uncomfortable beds, rooms that smell. Maybe when the hotel is full, it doesn't feel as "sad" but the price was the reason why we stayed. The weather was terrible with strong winds in Ischia so you couldn't go to the beach or pool.

Not really appreciate being charged for towels for the pool when I was able to return them the same day and they try to charge me for 3 days of Pool towels, also charge for water that we requested in our room, it should be complementary.

Wonderful stay. Great pools, very nice design. Quiet romantic location beside wineyards, several nice restaurants in walking distantce. Very friendly service.

FRAUD. FRAUD. FRAUD. THIS IS NOT A 4 star hotel but a 1 star. It was a 4 star back in 1960. The place is suppose to have a shuttle to get around but it was broken. You have to wear a shower cap in the pool at all times. Also, watch out for the metal chicken wire in the drains because it cut my hand. We stayed in Italy for 28 days and this was the worst hotel of them all. Stay somewhere else unless you like to overpay and stay in a dump.

Except only the kindness of the staff. Upon my arrival, the bitter surprise of discovering that this hotel is isolated from the world and WITHOUT the shuttle. Why advertise something if it's not true? A bus rarely passes near the hotel, so if you don't want to walk for at least 1 km on winding roads you have to invest in a taxi. Very small rooms, I've never had a room where I struggled to place the TV, finding a way to put it on a chair and away from the bed. Very poor breakfast and for coeliacs and allergies like me it is a big problem. Too bad because the structure deserves a lot and could be exploited more.
