Radisson Hotel and Conference Center Fond du Lac

I stayed in two different rooms one was 2 Queens and the other was King. Both rooms were clean. The Double Queens had a view of their Game room which was pretty. My favorite part of The Raddison was the restaurant Benvenutos, the food was great and a reasonable price.

The staff responded well to questions and request. The beds were comfortable, however The overall quality and cleaning could be better. I arrived while a large event was in progress. There were people loitering in the parking lot and litter of beer cans and cigarettes which is not what I expected to walk into. The price was reasonable and the location was convenient. Consider the factors stated and book at your discretion.

Odor coming from heating system, water smelled like sulfur, run down property, staff walked in the room without knocking

This is a pretty rundown hotel. We were placed in a back section with no elevator. Only on 2nd floor so not a deal breaker. This was “surface” clean but not really. One look in the air return grates would tell how dirty it really is. Sink took forever to drain. Big gathering area looked fun; shuffleboard, ping pong, pool, arcade, etc. Staff was helpful when asked. Restaurant and bar was decent but closed on Sunday.

We stayed in room # 112. Came back from dinner about 6:30 pm to the room and it sounded like we had “a huge party” going on. I opened the curtains and realized our view was of the pool and the large playroom next to it with 50+ kids and parents screaming to one another. This lasted until 12 midnight. Finally I got to sleep! At 4am I was awakened by staff cleaning the pool and moving furniture in the playroom. What the devil? How does one expect this kind of sleepless night at the Radisson? When we checked out the woman at the desk WAS NOT understanding at all! She stated “ gosh I’m sorry, no one else has ever complained about this. Well, I hope you have a pleasant day.” And she turned around and went into the office. She showed no customer concern at all!!! I’ll not stay in the Radisson again.

Other than the hot tub being broken for the pasr 4 months..and still advertised. I think we should get money off on a room. When u look firward to staying there and yding what supposedly included.

Heater made a loud squeak every time it stopped. Public areas were cold. Breakfast buffet was okay, have had better continental breakfasts. HOT TUB IS BROKEN AND WALLED OFF. It clearly has been broken but is advertised as being functional. Extremely disappointed and likely will not stay in the future.

This hotel is in need of an update. What is updated seemed sort of botched. Our room was near a door that said no smoking yet people were using it to smoke which made the area smell of it. Check in staff was kind but we had to contact them for any questions and it seemed like more of a nuisance to help us.
