Extra covers in the box if necessary. Spacious box to lose all your stuff. The safe and refrigerator are present. Long mirrors to be able to admire yourself before you go out of the door. Dark curtains. Nice bathroom, fine shower, shampoo and soap. Rooms are kept clean by the hard-working people of the cleaning. Breakfast is extensive and delicious. Personnel at the reception friendly and helpful. Kitchen staff and service also very friendly and helpful. The pool is present. But it wasn't filled since it was April. Fitness room present only not made time to use it. There's also the possibility to wash your clothes. Rethimno center/old town at walking distance. Many shops and food facilities in the surrounding area. I recommend a stay in this hotel.

Beautifully kept small boutique hotel (9 rooms) in the heart of Rethymnon old town. Stayed here for 6 nights and from arrival to leaving, the owners (mam & son ) were exceptionally friendly and helpful nothing was a problem to them. They organised the taxi and even helped with the suitcases to and from the taxi. The hotel is only 5 mins walk from where the taxi drops you off and Konstantinos (son) was there to show us the way on arrival. Breakfast was traditional with eggs fried/scrambled or soft boiled offered and there was plenty of choice with ham, cheese, yoghurt, fruit and unlimited fruit juice, Tea and Coffee. There are so many bars/restaurants and shops within walking distance from the hotel so if mobility is an issue there is plenty choice on the doorstep. The beach is about a 15/20 minute walk and the marina about 10 mins once you navigate your way around the many alleyways that lead to the main promenade area which is lined with bars and restaurants, our preference was given to the many lovely restaurants located within the alleyways especially Stavros restaurant and our favourite Erofilli restaurant with a beautifully blossomed tree outside. I would highly recommend this hotel and the old town centre for a visit for at least 2/3 days as there is so much to see and do with many trips around the island at reasonable costs. My only little grumble would be the room we stayed in was limited to storage space for our clothing but this did not spoil our lovely stay at Casa dei Delfini.

Everything was more than perfect. We got a small room upgrade, a nice gesture. The hotel is well located, the rooms (apartment) are large, very clean and very well equipped. On the 4th floor no problem with the road below. Same with the swimming pool which is great. Bar available during the day. Barbecue evening every Wednesday evening is very cool. ALL the staff are super nice and competent. The SPA is perfect, Mariana is super attentive and super professional. Great stay at Macaris 👍👍
