Hotel Villa del Lago

Good choice. Firstly, I thought it’s overpriced hotel, but airport transfer is included (taxi will charge 10 usd), breakfast was included and pick up/drop off place for all transfers and tours 2 min walking. Nice, clean hotel with good view. I’ve heard many people complain about their hotels, so I believe it was good choice for us.

Best location. Lake view

I'm so happy I decided to stay at this hotel. The room I had, 301, was probably the best of the best - top floor facing the lake. Loved the terrace and every moment spent staring out at that view. Most of the photos on TA are very old; it really is much nicer in person, especially for the affordable price. Location seemed perfect to me. About a 5 minute walk to anywhere. I didn't get a chance to enjoy their breakfast between a sunrise tour and an early flight, but it looked good. Power on the island went out one night due to a storm, and their generator kicked on right away. The staff was very nice; these are good people working here.

Friendly staff, clean room. Ice and pure water provided. Good hot water. Excellent breakfast (included). No frig. The safe didn't work. Excellent wifi

Our stay was perfectly average. Beautiful views, convenient location, friendly staff. The bridge to the island was under repair during our stay, which was inconvenient but was no fault of the hotel. If you have small children or adults with mobility issues, you may want to check on the bridge status before booking.

The hotel offers simple amenities, a comfortable bed and is spotlessly clean. The terrace is a nice addition to sit out and enjoy the view of the lake. The AC in the room and inclusion of breakfast are also very welcome. The only downside is the smell from the shower drain, it was really overpowering. It can be mitigated by covering the drain with something but this isn’t readily provided.

Very clean, good waterview, staff is great. Stayed an extra night.
