The room was pretty much as pictured, though it was quite small, about 8 square meters, which I guess is typical for European rooms. At over 800 RMB a night, it was the price of a five-star hotel in China. However, the hotel's location is truly excellent – right across from the train station. It was super convenient to drop off our luggage and then head out to explore. We could easily walk to all the attractions; even the furthest, Michelangelo's viewpoint, was only about a 30-minute walk one way, which was totally fine. Plus, they offer luggage storage after check-out, which was great for catching our next train. Just a heads-up, the hotel doesn't provide disposable slippers, toothpaste, or toothbrushes, so you'll need to bring your own.

This hotel is right opposite Florence train station, making transportation incredibly convenient. Many attractions are also within walking distance. However, being near the train station, it can be a bit chaotic. There's a great Chinese restaurant next door, run by people from Zhejiang, that serves delicious food. Their stir-fried seafood noodles and poached chicken were particularly good. On the downside, the room cleaning was very superficial. The mini-fridge hadn't been checked, and there was an opened drink left by the previous guest. The hotel breakfast was extensive and provided all the basic nutrition one would need. Overall, Florence was quite different from the 'Emerald City' (Fèilěngcuì) I'd imagined, as described by Xu Zhimo. Perhaps visiting 20 years ago would have offered a different experience. It just goes to show, you should see the world while you're young!

The hotel lobby and the overall decor are very new and modern. The cleanliness is also excellent, especially the sweet bar where you can enjoy a drink in the evening. The location is very convenient, with many restaurants and supermarkets nearby, and it's super close to the train station. All the attractions are within walking distance, especially the Duomo. The only downside is that it can be a bit noisy at night, which I found a bit hard to deal with, but it wouldn't be an issue for those who aren't sensitive to noise.

The location is incredibly convenient, right across the street from the train station. The hotel is quite large; it felt like I walked forever down the corridor with my luggage to find my room. The room itself was small, and when I first entered, there was a faint, indescribable smell – couldn't tell if it was from renovation or something else, but it dissipated after airing out for a bit, so it was acceptable. The bathroom was small but clean. The area around the hotel is very lively. It's just a two or three-minute walk to Florence's historic center, and the main bus terminal is right next door, making it super easy to catch a bus to Siena. In the evenings, a lot of people gather outside the bus station chatting on the street. It was a bit intimidating the first time I saw it, but I later realized it's perfectly fine to just walk past them.

The middle-aged male staff member asked us to pay an additional 60 euros per day for a 'room upgrade.' After we declined, he deliberately assigned us to room A03, which is right next to the bar counter and overlooks the train station. There was constant noise, even after midnight. This was supposed to be a relaxing trip, and I can't believe we were penalized for not upgrading. The hotel's design is flawed; I've never seen a guest room right next to a bar counter! Plus, the shower drain was clogged. Absolutely furious!
