Nice neat boutique hotel. We took 2 rooms and they gave us adjacent rooms. One room was very neat and everything was fine. The second room had neat beds and bathroom but we noticed small black particles flying in the air. My husband said thats dust from the vents probably and maybe the room was not used for a long time. I have dust allergies so started to sneeze. On the whole the experience was good, friendly staff. We did not opt for breakfast as we wanted to check out local cafes. The best experience was there was a Christmas market within 10 min walk and a nice cafe for breakfast. Also we felt it was a safe neighborhood as we walked from the market to the hotel late in the night and it was quiet well lighted and people walking on the streets. We were there for 3 nights and we could experience lot of things around.

What a fabulous stay we had at this hotel. The room was lovely, very comfy bed and great air conditioning which cooled us down when we came back from exploring Florence in the hot weather. The staff were exceptional, a special mention to Fabio who always went above and beyond. We mentioned we were going on a trip I’ve Day do needed a taxi booking for 630. Not only did Fabio book the taxi he also arranged breakfast boxes for us as we wound muss breakfast. The rooftop terrace was lovely too to take in the views and provided one of the best spots to watch the fireworks to celebrate San Giovanni.

I like the location it was close to the center of town. I did not like the room on the lower level with no view.

Our stay at this hotel was disappointing, primarily due to the stark mismatch between the exorbitant price and the room quality. The online images and descriptions painted a far more appealing picture than the reality. The rooms were outdated and badly in need of renovation. I found it difficult to justify the high cost for such a lackluster experience. Exercise caution when considering this hotel for your stay.

the most horrible hotel and management! After we announced that we would be arriving after midnight, due to a flight delay, they accommodated us in a room on the mezzanine, right next to the breakfast room. We couldn't sleep because of the clatter of plates and cutlery. The room was full of mold, located on the mezzanine, with crumbling walls, damaged furniture, hair in the shower cabin and in the bathroom on the floor, dirty towels. In the morning at 7 o'clock we asked for a room where we could sleep (we had arrived at 3 in the morning), they proposed to change the room after lunch. We requested to go to a hotel where we can sleep at least for a few hours, they said that we can leave and that they will reimburse us the entire amount paid. Now, after a week, the manager no longer recognizes this, it is inadmissible and unthinkable for a 4-star hotel in the European Union.

Whoever reckons that this hotel is 'centrally located' is clearly not familiar with Florence. It is a 15 min walk beyond Santa Croce; Santa Croce to Piazza della Signoria is 10 mins; PdS to the Duomo is a further 10 mins. Santa Maria Novella railway station is a further 15 mins. So, 'centrally located' it is not. Biggest criticism, though, is cleanliness. Our bathroom, frankly, was grubby. My wife cleaned it herself! The tiny elevator was also grubby (but we felt that cleaning it too was a step too far). The whole place needs a good 'bottoming' and a far more rigorous and regular cleaning regime putting in place. Breakfast was OK, albeit the hot offering was rudimentary and uninteresting. There was a reasonable supply of cold offerings. The lady in charge of the breakfast room was a sweetie. Our room was 403 - AVOID!!! It had no windows, only skylights, terribly claustrophobic. We asked about moving rooms but were told that the hotel was full, but they would 'see what they could do' later in the week. We heard no more about it. We had lost the will to live by then. Best thing about the hotel was Carlotta on Reception. Unfailingly pleasant and helpful. It's not her fault that her colleagues elsewhere let her down - particularly in the housekeeping/cleaning department(s). So, not a good experience, would not recommend.

Absolutely perfect quiet location. Walking distance to everything but so absolutely perfect to go back to this quiet retreat at the end of the day. The staff was beyond accommodating to any need or requests I had. They were so welcoming and friendly. Loved staying here for my solo Tuscany refreshing and renewing vacation.

While the location is a touch of a walk from most places in Florence, the hotel itself is a gem! The beds were very comfortable, with air conditioning in the rooms that cool things down significantly when it is hot. Everything you would expect in a nice hotel. The thing that stands out the most is the staff there. They are outstanding! Daniele at the Front Desk was exceptional, not just in his service, but in his anticipation of your needs. So glad to have stayed here.

This hotel is very clean, and I loved the way it was decorated in such a whimsical way. The hotel staff wasn't the friendliest we have seen. We would definitely stay there again if in that area.
