Very surprised to have balcony in the room! Have water dispenser in the lobby. Can get sparkling water. Very close to central station. No slippers provided.

It's not bad, it's a nice staff, convenient location to Train station

The bathroom design was poor, little place to separate clean and dirty clothes, the water flow was week, and the shower door cannot be closed tightly

Stayed at Mercure Firenze Centro for two weeks. Very friendly staff. The cleanliness is very good. Perfect location as it is located 5 minutes away from Santa Maria Novella Train Station. Closed to nearby attractions by walking distance. The room space might be a bit small, however i got a room with balcony at 6th floor. I enjoyed my stay here and not hesitate for a return in future.

Location is great, near train station, but everything else is not up to standard. Do not recommend this hotel at all. How is this a 4 star hotel? It should just be a 2 star or 3 star hotel. The rooms were run down, air conditioner not working, it was so warm at night! Complained to the staff but they insist that there is nothing wrong with their air-conditioner. We experienced blackout one of the night, and have to call the front desk for help. Took them more than 30 mins to resolve it and they still expect me to pay for the night stay. Toilet door cannot be closed properly, there is only 1 bottle of 2-in-1 shampoo and shower foam in the toilet. No hair conditioner, no toothbrush provided. The rack in the toilet was slanted down and I couldn't put my facial form on it as it kept dropping down because its slanting down. Housekeeping was horrible, they didn't even replace my paper cups meant for brushing teeth. Tissue papers were also not replenished. Bottled water provided in the room was not free and they didn't indicate nor inform beforehand. I was asked to pay additional 9 euros when I checked out of the hotel. Do not recommend this hotel. How is this even a 4 star hotel rated by others?! Ridiculous hotel and service.

Generally comfortable with complimentary drinks and nice coffee machine. Location is excellent. One of the worst things is the sink in washroom is totally not user friendly, in which it is difficult to get used (sometimes dirty ) water to flow away easily or we can pour water into kettle and water container (for coffee machine) efficiently. Daily cleaners are occasionally reckless and not fully clean the bathroom, in particular the shower place.
