DoubleTree by Hilton Florence Metropole

The room isn't huge, but the price is pretty good for a five-star hotel. The guy at the lobby was really handsome and had a great attitude. Downstairs, you can grab a coffee with a few biscuits for just three euros. Bus routes 77/78 are right across the street, but you can't use Visa, so it's best to buy your tickets in advance. We didn't have time to buy them, but they still let us ride. Overall, the hotel is conveniently located and the price is friendly!

The sink stopper in the room was broken, and even stranger, the sink had an overflow, but it didn't actually allow overflow. When I tried to discuss this with the front desk, a female staff member was incredibly rude and seemed prejudiced. I definitely do not recommend this place.

Overall, my experience was good. The only downside is that it's a bit far from the lively downtown area, so there aren't many food options nearby. You pretty much have to go to the city center to eat.
