aparto Florence Manifattura

It took 20 minutes to check in for some unknown reason. It feels just like a college dorm—clean and tidy, but there were no bath towels or toilet paper in the room. The front desk staff were quite friendly, and luggage storage is free. There's a bus right outside that goes directly to Santa Maria Novella Station.

The environment is quite new and spacious, but there's no hairdryer, so you need to bring your own. Their online checking system's camera didn't work, so I had to check in offline. The front desk closes at 11 PM, not 24 hours as stated on Ctrip. Nearby, there's the University of Florence, and there's also a large supermarket and a Chinese supermarket. Buying things there instantly brought back memories of being a student abroad 😭

The room was still clean and tidy. The service was terrible. The self-service machine only accepted coins or required me to download an app. It showed Alipay, but it didn't work at all. After downloading the app and adding money, it said the machine was out of order. I wasted twenty minutes on this. I went to the front desk, and they told me it was after hours and that he was just a security guard who couldn't do anything. Yet, this very person had helped me check in and pay the city tax just moments before. The same person then came to look at the machine and told me there was nothing he could do. The front desk wouldn't exchange money or provide a cup. A complete waste of time. What a rip-off. Seriously, the more I think about it after writing this review, the angrier I get. Just give it a full one-star rating.

Highly recommend this hostel in Florence! The location is superb, just a few minutes' walk from Santa Maria Novella train station, and within walking distance of the Duomo, Ponte Vecchio, and Central Market, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the old town. The dorms are clean and tidy, and each bunk has a locker. The air conditioning works great. The front desk is open 24 hours, and the staff are friendly and helpful, offering practical advice on local restaurants and attractions. The common kitchen is well-equipped, there's a pleasant courtyard, free luggage storage, and stable WiFi. Given that Florence can be quite expensive, this hostel offers exceptional value for money, perfect for backpackers. I'd definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Florence.

Extremely satisfied with this hostel experience, it even felt hotel-level! The hostel is located within what seems to be a cultural and creative industrial park (?), so the surroundings are very quiet. A ten-minute walk leads to a large local supermarket. The room was very spacious with high ceilings, and all the facilities were brand new. The bed was clean and wider than a standard bunk bed, and the bunk beds had stairs, which was very convenient. Upon check-in, clean foot mats and bath towels were provided, and the bathroom also had a 2-in-1 cleanser. Each person had two lockers, several hangers, and a niche. The common areas included a washing machine and dryer (unfortunately, they were broken when I tried to use them, but there's a laundromat nearby) and two spacious and bright work rooms. Overall, it was a very satisfying experience!

I booked a quad room for three nights this time, and I was pleasantly surprised as soon as I walked in. The beds were neatly made, the space was very generous, and the ceiling was as high as two stories. The room had four beds but eight lockers. You can borrow a hairdryer from the front desk, and the room has toilet paper and 2-in-1 shower products and hand soap. There's no kettle or cups, but you can get drinking water from the common area.
