This was our first time staying at a Tru hotel and I must say I was impressed. Check in was smooth and effortless. We arrived early and we were allowed to check in early with no issues. The rooms were clean and spacious, nice walk in shower, and comfortable beds. Lobby was kid friendly and the breakfast was good. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I will definitely stay here again the next time I come to SC.

Easter weekend is busy on 95. This spot wasn’t my first choice but we needed a break and we had our dog so dog friendly was a must. Location is ideal and we were able To park our Jeep and trailer near the room and the lot was lit up and appeared to have cameras. I did feel the location was safe. Room was typical for older hotels, mostly dated with some upgrades. Bathroom very dated but shower was hot. Room smelled like bleach. Fridge convenient to unpack our cooler for the night. AC worked decent and couldn’t hear other rooms which was good because many pets were accompanying the guests. In room coffee wasn’t drinkable and “hot breakfast” was me grabbing a yogurt and granola bar along with more bad coffee and then hitting up a McDonalds…. Overall, for 150 bucks total, it was what it was…..

Room 301 King room at the end of the hall as requested. Very clean room. Comfortable room. Good air ventilation. Everything was modern and new looking. Really nice breakfast choices. Safe and well lit parking lot. Friendly folks at the front desk. Only hiccup were inconsiderate guests next door who arrived to their room with their kids at 12:30am and thought that it was perfectly acceptable to have loud conversations out in the hallway. Not the hotel's fault. More a reflection that there are some seriously inconsiderate people in the world.

This Home2Suites in Florence is just a little east of I-95 and beginning and end of I-20. It is located in a busy area and looks like the area is building up too. My overnight visit here was on August 27, 2022. After a day of driving, it was nice to get off the road for the night. We would make it home the following day. The road to the hotel (W Radio Dr.) was the first ”exit” off of I-20B (I-20 Business). Getting here wasn't too bad, as you could also see the building when coming down the road. The first time coming in, we almost turned into the entrance before the hotel, but we did get in at the right entrance. There was ample parking when we came in, so after getting parked, I went inside to get checked in. After that, I went up to the room (422) to check things out. On all initial check, everything seemed to be in order, so I went back down to let everyone else know all was good and we got a cart to bring our stuff up to the room. Masks are not required to be worn on this property. The room that we were in was a corner room on the 4th floor, so it was a bigger room than some of the other non-corner rooms. The setup was the same as any other Home2Suites that I have been to in the past. My niece wanted to sleep on the sofa bed that night, so we went into the drawer to get the items needed for it. However, there was only a blanket in there. I figured that maybe it was just a fluke and went down to the front desk to ask them for linens and such for the sofa bed. We would head out to get something for dinner, but it was in there when we got back. After we got back from dinner, I took some time to explore the hotel grounds, both inside and outside. They have several patio and seating areas outside, along with an area with a fire pit. The pool is indoors, but just outside the door from there, there is a patio area and some grills. Back inside, the Spin2Cycle (exercise) room was next to the pool area. The area is a nice size with lots of equipment available. The lobby area is a nice size as well. There is plenty of indoor seating, and there is a breakfast area as well there. The ”business center” is also in the lobby area of the hotel. When you turn left from the main lobby when coming in, at the end of the hallway there is a Game Room. There are two TVs and several consoles to play games with as well. On the first floor there just past the lobby, there is also a guest laundry area when going to the right after you come in through the main entrance. So, for the grounds, they had quite a bit to offer for just about anyone. After checking out the hotel and getting back to the room, I prepared to take and shower and then did so. Although I wouldn't know it at first, I would find a few issues after getting into the shower and starting to shower. When I went to use the body wash, the cover kept falling off, so something wasn't fixed with that. Next, as I started to shower, I noticed there were hairs on the inside of the do

Picked this hotel for a stayover during a I-95 trip. Arrived late at night (midnight) after a long drive and had to goto the front desk as the digital key from the Hilton App didn't register after online checkin. The man working the desk apparently didn't listen to my explanation and told me he didn't even have my reservation. After repeating my story and telling him I already had checked in, he figured it out. The room furnishing were some of the oldest I can ever remember in a major brand chain. The room was not beat up per say, just extremely dated. Old wood furnishings, etc. The shower tile had been updated at some point, but was still old, plastic doors, and generally very tired. Room had a mini-fridge and small microwave and a LCD TV, but no USB ports, lacking outlets, etc. Breakfast was your typical freebie, but did have waffle irons, etc and was decent. Hotel did have a snack selection for purchase next to check-in.
