Riad Hanael Garden and SPA

Awesome everything and the bonus upgrade to the panoramic suite. And when The owner especially is present you know its details that matters. Thank you to the helpful staff who the owner calls family.

This was an exquisite Riad in the heart of the Fes Medina. I chose this because of the reviews and it exceeded all expectations. My “room” (and I put that in quotes because it felt like a small apartment) was absolutely stunning. The staff were extremely helpful, friendly and fun. You felt like you’ve actually been entertained in someone’s home; you really get to know the staff to the point of feeling sad to leave them. The service was kind and attentive without being intrusive. I would recommend this Riad to anyone with no reservation. Oh, and the resident tortoises were an added bonus!

We stayed at Riad Hanael from Tuesday to Saturday and had a very positive experience. The riad is beautiful and clearly very well cared for. The tilework is impressive and feels truly traditional, and the garden is a lovely place to spend time, with a small pool and a fountain that create a calm atmosphere after a day in the medina. We stayed in the Ambassador Suite. The room was very large, with high ceilings, and divided by a carved wooden panel that made the space feel both open and intimate. It opened directly onto the garden, which we really enjoyed. The riad arranged our airport transfer and, at our request, also organized a guide for us. Everything was handled smoothly, and we never had to worry about logistics, which made the stay very easy and relaxing. The staff were extremely kind and helpful throughout our stay. We spent time talking with Mohammad and Mehdi, and those conversations were one of the highlights of the trip. They were always available, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. This was not a short visit, and the riad ended up being our favorite part of the journey. We would happily stay here again and recommend it to others visiting Fez.

We stayed for 4 nights and felt right at home in this beautiful Riad. It is very centrally located in the old Medina yet relatively close to a nearby car park which is a real bonus when transporting your luggage and accessing services outside the old town. The Riad has been exquisitely restored by the family who run it - with great sensitivity to the local architecture without compromising on all the modern essentials. The owners and staff were brilliant - kind, friendly and attentive to our every need. The garden area is a beautiful, peaceful place to while away a languid late afternoon and the rooftop terrace is the perfect location for breakfast with incredible views over the old town. I can’t recommend a stay here more highly!

Phenomenal experience, extremely professional hospitality staffs, service from genuine heart, clean facilities, and most of all the aesthetic of the hotel is breath taking. There's no reason to not stay in this hotel. it's in old medina but still close from the entrance no problem at all even if you have heavy luggages. Since it's near to the historical tannery and artisans but smell of tannery never reaches to the hotel so no worries at all. panoramic view of the terrace is also amazing. I am most definitely willing to visit this riad again, highly recommend it to others too.
