The Moroccan-style renovated family hotel is very distinctive and the pattern on the architectural structure is exquisitely carved. The central courtyard used for gatherings and dining, where the roof top above can be opened to reduce the heat or can be closed to keep warm. Rooms are arranged around the courtyard which reminds me of Hui-style architectures. I also see the shadow of Chinese architecture in some Moroccan architecture but the difference is that in addition to wood, they use stone and mosaic as building materials to form a colourful visual effect as well.

Except for a watermelon seed in the bathroom, everything else was fine. But there is a problem. In fact, these hotels in the old city can only be regarded as famous hotels. Apart from the Arabian style gimmicks, most of them can only be regarded as mid-range or lower-level B&Bs in China. The three and four stars marked on Ctrip's page are very misleading. The price I booked allows me to stay in a good regular hotel in Morocco.
Ryad Salama

Our family of five (including 3 young adult children) had an incredible stay at this beautiful ryad located in the heard of the Medina. Michel, the owner, along with his staff gave us a warm welcome and provided attentive service during our entire two night stay. This is a beautifully renovated ryad with a tasteful and eclectic decorating style. The calming courtyard has birds chirping, stained glass windows, beautiful fountain/dipping pool, and plenty of places to sit and relax. Each room is uniquely decorated, has plenty of room, and is very comfortable. Breakfasts each morning were great - pastries, yogurt, fruit and eggs. We highly recommend having at least one dinner at Ryad Salama as we did- beautifully prepared and delicious. Overall, we felt this was one of the best stays we have had on our many vacations and highly recommend Ryad Salama.

What to say? A beautiful Riad, calm, with a view to cut the Soul! Pascal and Marjorie are people of incredible gentleness, still there To give you good advice. The Riad is decorated with a great tasty, with a small touch to the French very pleasant. Bouchra is the Pour préparer des plats du soir (better than the Relais&chateaux!) Two terraces pour vous relaxer en fin de jour! Easy access from the bab porte guissa. Pascal and Marjorie come to get you at your arrival and take you back to your taxi by leaving.

400-year-old old house, the lobby is luxuriously decorated, but because the layout and structure of the old building are not satisfactory. The rooms have to climb very steep and narrow stairs, and it is not recommended for elderly or people with mobility difficulties to stay. This place is also not accessible by car, you have to walk for 5 minutes and go uphill through the messy alleys. There are usually people on the street who want to help you run the luggage (porter). You have to pay 3-4 euros depending on how much luggage you have. Their restaurant tastes and charges are reasonable, and the front desk will recommend chartered travel, but we tried the driver, it feels average, the charge is not cheap, there is no decent restaurant around, about 10 minutes walk to eat. For those who want to experience Riad, try this low-cost facility.
Riad El Ghalia

A beautiful Marokkaanse style structure. When you enter the hall, you remain without words: it seems to enter a oasis of peace and tranquility, with tape, coats designed to another world. The rooms also reflect the same size. The only improvement point is the bathrooms, a little too small and a little less careful in detail.
