While the property was fine, our overall experience was far from perfect. We got checked in and we went to the ****** to have drinks and play. A short time late, we were told they would be closing down early due to weather. A little bummed, but no big deal. Then we were told they were closing at 8:00pm! We had barely even gotten there! There was no acknowledgment. We were not given the opportunity to reschedule our trip. We were there for my fiancé's birthday. We had taken days off work and gotten childcare, and chose the Silver Reef instead of our usual, closer ******/hotels. We only live about an hour away. I feel we should've been given the opportunity to cancel and rebook our trip for a different day.
All of the restaurants were closed, except for the Red River Cafe, where we waited forever for our food, despite there being very few people in there. They brought the wrong food, which was lukewarm at best, then we had to wait even longer for the food that we actually ordered- also warm-ish. Not exactly the nice birthday dinner I had planned for him.
I understand that weather is out of anyone's control. And I appreciate, wanting to keep everyone safe. However, I feel we should have been given the opportunity to come a different time where we could enjoy the full experience. This trip was a complete waste of our time and money. We will definitely not be going back.

Clean and good size rooms. Not very soundproof. Front desk staff were being disrespectful about guests within ear shot which was not very processional although other staff were extremely helpful and kind. Poor internet connectivity.
Good place to stay to access ****** and food.

The hotel was nice and clean. Staff was helpful. Our room had all the usual stuff except recycling bins for out drink bottles. Being from California it’s a big deal and we still separated our trash lol! I’m planning on going back and will stay at this establishment again.

Red river cafe was not good. One member of our group was sick all night, i had to send back my meal, was absolutely terrible. Had to wait a very long time to get our meals, the waitress was very apologetic and said there was an incident in the kitchen. She was very good, took my meal off the bill as it was inedible.the other 3 in our group enjoyed theirs

What I didn’t like is all 6 floors have vending machines and not one of them is working
Poor customer service
No complimentary water at the front desk we travel extensively and always get complimentary water at the front reception if you ask for it again poor unfriendly front desk

Had to circle the parking lot multiple times because there was ZERO place to park. You would think if you're a hotel guest there would be something reserved for you. There was a small lot the staff said I could use for hotel guests only but even that was full.
Rooms were substandard for the price they charge. Walls are paper thin, so I got to hear every conversation my neighbors were having. Dining options are limited at best. The ****** is non-smoking which was nice, but somehow still seemed dirty. Quite a few machines had buttons that didn't work or were just sticky. Very gross.

The hotel is a bit older and doesnt supply water although its available at the bars. The check in staff were great.

The room is nice however the resort has opportunities for improvement. The electronic information in the room had many pages that said 'page not found' when you clicked the links for details. Including all of the restaurant hours. Staff throughout the hotel seemed like guests were inconveniencing them (checkin, security at the door) No smiles or greering.
