Lancui River View Homestay (Phoenix Ancient City Scenic Area Branch)

Staying at the Lancui River View Guesthouse this time in Fenghuang Ancient Town was the highlight of my trip. The guesthouse is perfectly situated right in the heart of the ancient town, by the river. Opening the window offers breathtaking views of both banks. The room was cozy, the bedding soft, and all facilities were complete. The cleanliness was exceptional, and there was even a mini-fridge stocked with cold drinks. The owner was incredibly helpful, offering thoughtful recommendations for sightseeing routes and local delicacies. Getting around was easy, and overall, my experience was fantastic. I honestly recommend it to anyone visiting Fenghuang! Plus, it had the best hairdryer I've ever used in a guesthouse.

Even though there's ongoing renovation outside, blocking the view I wanted, the butler service was excellent, including pick-up and drop-off. The location is also fantastic, right in the heart of everything. You can walk downstairs and explore all the famous attractions nearby. The facilities are great too! Highly recommend!

The hotel's location is fantastic, but it might not be ideal for guests who prefer a quieter environment. The room was very clean and hygienic, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The balcony view was absolutely stunning! However, I suggest the hotel add luggage racks in the rooms to make it easier for guests to access their belongings. Also, three toilet rolls would be perfect, even if the bathroom is already very clean.

The location is excellent for enjoying the old city. During the day, you can walk around peacefully to all the attractions without crowds. At night, it's lively and bustling with people, but you don't need to go far to see the river, bridges, boats, and musical performers floating by, all beautifully lit up. You step out of the hotel and you're right in the middle of the action! 😂 There are several nightclubs with loud music, but by 11:30 PM, it's completely silent, so you'll sleep well. Our room was on the top floor; there's no elevator, just two flights of stairs. The attic-style ceiling is a bit low, so you have to be careful not to hit your head. The river view is nice, and the bathroom is comfortable. The space is just right, encouraging you to spend most of your time outside. The bed is comfortable, and the sheets and towels are good quality and looked new. It's a great option for a day in Fenghuang. They pick you up and take you to the train station, but you need to contact them in advance. It's highly recommended as Didi doesn't work in Fenghuang, taxis charge whatever they want, and cars can't reach the hotel directly, only a parking lot. The hotel staff will help you with your luggage on the walk to the accommodation.

The hotel is right next to Tuojiang River, and you can watch the Cui Cui show from the balcony every evening. The decor is very new, and there's a huge projector screen. The only slight drawback is that it might not be suitable for those seeking peace and quiet, as there's a bar downstairs that doesn't really quiet down until around 11:30 PM. Overall, the location, decor, and ambiance are all excellent and it's definitely worth a short stay.

The location is superb, close to Tuojiang Jumping Rock, and within walking distance to all attractions in the ancient town. Although the B&B doesn't have the facilities and services of a regular hotel, and the room size is smaller, the room itself is comparable to a regular hotel. The toilet has an electronic bidet, the mattress is hotel-grade, the shower has excellent water pressure, and amenities like disposable toothbrushes, slippers, razors, bottled water, etc., are provided, just like in a standard hotel. The only difference is the absence of a TV, replaced by a projector and an electric screen. However, the most attractive feature of the room is the outdoor balcony, which has a coffee table and two chairs. You can buy food and drinks from nearby stalls, enjoy the night view of Tuojiang River while eating, and listen to the wonderful singing of the bar street performers 🎤🎶... The ancient town has narrow paths, and Gaode Maps (Amap) couldn't accurately guide us, so we took many detours when arriving. I suggest contacting the person in charge to arrange a pick-up when heading to the B&B. Upon departure, the owner arranged a car to take us to the high-speed rail station and even helped us carry our luggage to the parking lot. They were very warm and accommodating. 👍👍👍

Great location! You can easily watch the Cui Cui show, and there's a boat tour right downstairs. The environment is lovely, clean, and hygienic. The bed was super comfortable. The owner is very welcoming, and the service is excellent. Five-star rating!
