GGuest UserHygiene: Extremely clean, one of the cleanest hotels I've ever stayed in! They also provide a lot of disposable toiletries and sanitizing products, offering everything you could think of and more, very thoughtful. Facilities: Projector, tea ceremony table, makeup mirror, bathtub, electric curtains. Environment: The decor is simple and looks very comfortable. The bed and pillows are also very comfortable. It's a 5-minute walk to the iconic gate, 7-8 minutes to the East Gate entrance turnstile, and a 16-minute walk to the Charming Xiangxi show theater. There are many delicious restaurants and several breakfast spots around the guesthouse, very convenient! Service: For this trip, I asked the owner to help book group tickets, which saved me a lot of money overall. The owner is very enthusiastic, not only helping to plan the itinerary but also almost instantly replying to any questions. Seeing that I was traveling alone and might feel unsafe, the owner even picked me up and dropped me off for the Charming Xiangxi show, which was very thoughtful. When I left, they also proactively helped me find a shared ride. They truly made my trip very comfortable and perfect, I'm so, so happy! 😁 I highly recommend this guesthouse! 👍🏻

Beyond the great spot, the hotel just has really good vibes- it felt incredibly welcoming and comfortable the moment we walked in. What really stood out, though, was the service. The staff went above and beyond to help us figure out our itinerary around Zhangjiajie. SShengzhewuxinThis was my third trip to Zhangjiajie, and after visiting the bustling East and South gates before, I decided to enter through the West gate this time. This guesthouse is absolutely a hidden gem nestled within the mountains and rivers of Zhangjiajie, offering the most healing and immersive nature experience I've ever had. The guesthouse is located inside the West Gate scenic area, right next to Xiangzi Stream. To check in, you first cross a covered bridge, with the clear, gentle sounds of the babbling stream all around – just listening to it is incredibly therapeutic. You could easily spend a long time just daydreaming on that bridge. Surrounded by mountains and forests, the air is fresh and moist. There's no noisy crowd, just the chirping of birds and the accompanying stream, truly making you feel like you're living within the scenery. It's very friendly for self-driving tourists. You can drive your car directly into the scenic area. Just contact the owner in advance, and they'll come out to greet you, guide you to parking, and even have charging piles available. It's about a 500-meter walk to the Yangjiajie cable car, so getting up a bit early allows you to get ahead of the crowds. A quick start often leads to a quick journey overall, helping you avoid the throngs in the evening. I absolutely must give a special shout-out to the landlady. She is incredibly warm and thoughtful. I learned through conversation that she used to be an executive at an international five-star hotel brand. Because of this, the guesthouse exudes professionalism and refinement, from its service to its amenities. The bedding (the same kind used in Grand Hyatt hotels), towels, and toiletries are all configured to five-star hotel standards, offering a soft and comfortable feel. The mattress, in particular, is perfectly balanced – not too soft, not too hard, with excellent support. Combined with the quiet surroundings and falling asleep to the sound of Xiangzi Stream, my sleep quality was superb, and all my travel fatigue was relieved in just one night. The guesthouse is relatively new, so all the facilities are pristine and well-maintained, clean, tidy, and stylish. I highly recommend room 101, a stilt house (with a 270-degree mountain view). The view is absolutely stunning; opening the window reveals lush green mountains and a flowing stream, with distant mountains and nearby water all within sight, providing an unparalleled viewing experience. Nearby, you can pick fresh wild vegetables and organic vegetables grown on-site. They are picked fresh from the fields, ensuring tender, pollution-free ingredients. The guesthouse also provides a kitchen for guests to use, so you can cook the wild vegetables and organic produce you've picked into homemade dishes, savoring the fresh and natural taste. During leisure time, the owner also prepares high-quality mulberry tea and coffee beans. Sipping tea by a fireside in the courtyard, admiring the mountain views, and listening to the murmuring stream – these slow-paced moments are incredibly relaxing and comfortable. It's truly the life one dreams of. It's perfectly suited for an extended stay.

AAnonymous UserThis hotel blew it out of the water for us. They made our trip to Zhangjiajie a million times better than it would have been if we had stayed elsewhere. It all started 2 months before our stay. Our hotel butler reached out to me via WeChat and answered all the questions we had about everything. I told our butler that we would be arriving at 9pm and she arranged for a vehicle to pick us up from the airport. The cost was 100 yuan which is a bit steeper than a Didi but I felt it was well worth it since the drive is more than 30 minutes and we were able to guarantee that all our luggages would fit. A week before our stay she reached out to us and asked if we needed to book tickets for tianmendong and for zhangjiajie forest. She booked both for us with the times we wanted and said we could pay her once we arrived. I double checked the prices and they were exactly the same as what we would have paid if we booked it ourselves. But with her help everything went very smoothly. The day before we arrived, the driver called me and confirmed that he would pick us up from the airport. The second our flight arrived, he called and confirmed that he was waiting at the gate. Once we came out, he was standing there with a sign with my name on it. It was all very cute and he parked somewhere convenient for us to get picked up. The drive over was smooth and efficient. Our butler also confirmed that she saved us afternoon tea and would have congee ready for us as well. Service was already excelling beyond control at this point. Once we arrived at the hotel, we checked in with her on the first floor and she gave us a quick rundown of the facilities and everything. When we arrived in our room, it was clean and the bed were nice and big. I also liked that they use Jo Loves for their toiletries. The afternoon tea and congee came up shortly after we walked in. Our room faced this courtyard that was beautiful. Felt like we were living in a fairytale. I liked that the blinds were automatic which was great. They also have a Xiao Du assistant that can help control blinds, temperature and the TV as well. Love the technology. My only complaint about this hotel is that it gets a bit hot at night. You need to have the aircon on and the window open in order to be at a decent temperature. Breakfast was another highlight. The chef who also takes away the dishes, is super friendly and so is the auntie who makes the noodles. He was so nice and even made tomato egg when we requested it. The bread etc. Wasn't that great BUT the Chinese dishes he made were all really good. Theres this pork rib dish he makes that is so good. For all 4 days that we stayed there, the food he made was different. Another great function they have was the robot delivery service. Yes they delivery food but also they have a QR code with products that they have available for free. For example you could order a feet soaking tub (great for long days) and you could also order face washing clothes, one time use underwear, rain jackets. Basically anything you could think of, they probably have. The afternoon tea and the congee is available everyday so keep that in mind for days you can't find any decent food outside. We noticed that they had traditional clothing available and so I asked the butler about it. All you need to do is book a timeslot with them and they have a photographer come in and take photos of you. The photographer in the end ended up taking 120 photos of the 3 of us. She was so professional. She edits around 5 for you and the rest are just raw which is great. Location wise, this hotel is perfect if you are visiting zhangjiajie forest. The south entrance is literally right there. Like 2 minute walk. It's literally right next to the south exit too. There's a KFC nearby which is great and also a Chagee. If you walk one street down there are tons of eateries. Overall: this hotel was amazing. Would definitely recommend.

GGuest UserUpon arrival staff were very kind and welcoming. I’ve never stayed in a place so secluded so this was absolutely a great experience and super wholesome. Id recommend this place to couples and solo travellers, not necessarily for families unless you enjoy each others company x50 hehe. The property itself has a tea house, a restaurant and cute scenery places to explore and walk around. Cute cats and dogs are constantly roaming too :) the mountain view is picturesque and honestly a breathtaking view when waking up to it. Staff was so accomodating on my one night stay. I texted on WeChat at 1am in the evening and Mr Hu was super responsive and even got tasks done for me like finding cigarettes and Coke Zero late at night. The property was very clean for a cabin styled property, however I am used to more modern places - also please beware lots of mosquitoes during warm season so pack repellent!! I highly recommend the property if you’re visiting the Avatar Mountains, it’s 9 minutes away to the East Gate Entrance (Tianzi Cableway), the staff can also help book your tours and tickets easily.

CChaya🇨🇳 Ho Perfect if you're entering via the East Gate! Beautiful rooms, amazing service. Keep this in mind for your trip! 📌 🛏️ 1. Exactly as pictured & Great value for money - The room is fantastic, very new, and spotlessly clean. I booked a room with a bathtub and got the 4th floor. It looked exactly like the photos. The price in late March was amazing—less than $30/night (getting a bathtub at this price is super worth it!). The furniture looks brand new. - The bathroom is great, with clearly separated wet and dry zones. It has a smart toilet with a heated seat and auto-flush! - Amenities are quite complete. However, the hotel provides disposable towels. If you have a larger build, they might not cover you completely (I'm petite, so it didn't bother me), but the material is highly absorbent. - Good to know: the building has an elevator, but you do have to carry your luggage up a few steps to reach the entrance, so it's not 100% wheelchair accessible. But once inside, you can comfortably use the elevator without carrying your bags up to the higher floors. 📍 2. Quiet location but easy to get around - The hotel is slightly tucked away from the busy, bright areas, making it very quiet and perfect for a good night's sleep. - Getting to the park is super easy. You can catch a Didi to the East Gate, and it’s very cheap—only about $0.70 per ride. - As for food, even though it's not right next to convenience stores or restaurants, you can easily order food delivery. If you want to eat out, you can take a Didi or walk to the restaurant area. It's not far, less than 1 kilometer away. 👩🏻💼 3. Friendly owner & Excellent service - The owner manages the reception herself and is extremely hospitable. She gives great advice on exploring the park. Whether you plan a 1-day or 2-day itinerary, she can recommend the perfect walking route. I planned a 2-day trip, so she suggested entering via the East Gate on the first day and the South Gate on the second day. - She is always in a good mood and genuinely seems to love her work. Her bright energy makes talking to her an absolute joy 🤣 I was so impressed! - Her English is okay for basic communication, but for convenience and speed, we used WeChat. The translation feature made it smooth, and we understood each other perfectly. 🎟️ 4. Better ticket discounts through the hotel - I highly recommend this! If you need tickets, let the hotel book them for you—the prices are actually better than booking through popular travel apps. - Whether it's the national park ticket (she also helps book your entry time slot for every day you plan to visit—though if you want to change the time, you need to ask her to update it for you), Baofeng Lake, or the Grand Canyon Glass Bridge, she can get them at a cheaper price. - Another perk is the unpredictable weather in Zhangjiajie. Letting her book day-by-day or close to the date means you don't have to risk booking too far in advance. I changed my plan easily because of fog and rain, and it was completely stress-free. 🚑 5. A personal note of gratitude (why I'm writing this review so long) Late at night on March 25th, I had a medical emergency. I reached out to the owner, and she was incredibly helpful. She actually left the hotel counter to take me to the hospital and helped sort everything out 😭🙏 (I truly apologize to the other guests staying that night!). I was so touched and grateful, and didn't know how else to repay her, so I wanted to write this review to pass on the good word. Summary: This stay was super comfortable and truly heartwarming. Not only because of how much she helped me, but the rooms and facilities are genuinely excellent. If you're looking for a place to stay, please keep this hotel in mind! ❤️

GGuest UserThis was our favourite hotel in China! We stayed 4 nights and were welcomed like family. Our room was huge with a lovely living room and the best thing, it had great toys for the kids. The view was Lovely, we loved the location down the side street right near the school and our room was so comfortable . It was also my son’s birthday and the hotel owner and her family bought him the most awesome birthday cake and delivered it to our room and even sang for him. He felt so special. You have to stay here!

GGuest UserFor the view of the mountains, this stay is so awesome. If you mainly want to see the Zhangjiajie National Park, I really recommend this hotel. For me, I underestimated the amount of time it would take to get to Wulingyuan and Zhangjiajie city. It was a little inconvenient for me because I had to call taxis if I wanted to go out to eat and it was kind of far. A lot of taxi drivers would ask me for a tip because the location was difficult to reach. Apart from the location issue, I really enjoyed my stay. The breakfast was delicious, the staff were so accommodating and kind and even drove me to Zhangjiajie city on my last day. The dogs were so cute and the view of the mountains was stunning. If you want a perfect getaway from the city and stunning views, then this is the place for you. If you want to hangout in the more lively places, it might be kind of a hassle. This hotel is perfect for those who want a peaceful and relaxing getaway.

The water heated Up really fast and the beds Had heating Pads in Case it got cold😍 the hairblower was better than Mine at Home. We could also use the washingmashine The Location ist great and Service provided is top Tier. The food recommendations we're good and very closeby. My favourite was 7 pots. The Highlight was definitely the landlady, a sweet Lady who is doing her own tea. She booked Tickets for UeS so we didn't need to struggle with miniapps and entry Slots. Dont worry, you wont pay more than on Trip or Other Websites, she is very fair. The breakfast was 15 Yuan and in the neighbourbuilding. We will Miss this breakfast and especially the homemade wantan soup. There was a Lot of choice and everything was nice. We will definitely come Back!

The room was incredibly spacious, giving us plenty of room to relax and feel comfortable throughout our stay. What impressed us the most was the outstanding hospitality of the staff. Every team member was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. They even arranged a complimentary airport pickup for us, which made our arrival very smooth and stress-free. The staff also helped us a lot with planning our visit to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. They assisted us with organizing our itinerary, making reservations, and answering all of our questions immediately whenever we needed support. It has been a long time since we experienced such genuine hospitality and kindness. Although our first room had a few minor issues, the staff responded immediately and helped us without hesitation by arranging a new room for us right away. During our departure, we even noticed that the original room was already being renovated and the issues were being fixed, which really showed us how much the hotel cares about maintaining high standards and listening to guest feedback. Another highlight was the beautiful rooftop terrace with a wonderful view over the city. The hotel location is also excellent, with major attractions and important sights reachable within just a few minutes on foot. The free laundry service was also a very convenient bonus during our trip. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with our stay and would definitely choose this hotel again if we return to Zhangjiajie. We would also like to sincerely thank the entire team for making our stay so memorable and enjoyable.
