Hotels near Escape Garden State in Fairfield

I am actually coming here again February 17th I believe. It was the best hotel I've ever went to! I went here with my friend and dog! Best thing that ever happend to us. The breakfast was PERFECT!!!!

Very nice people and the location is great too. I would recommend this place to anyone.

The rooms was very dirty and my children and I were not comfortable at all. The lady on check in was very nice and the young man that checked me out was very understanding. That we did not want to continue our stay and understood completely the reason.

The management here deserves the lowest possible rating. I arrived here on July 5 for a 4 night stay with my daughter and disable son. He requires a wheelchair for ambulating. My reservation was made well in advance. We were visiting family in the area and looked forward to outdoor pool time. On arrival there was a man at the entrance who I assumed would help with baggage. He disappeared into the building. My daughter and I helped my son into his wheelchair. The wheelchair was in the trunk and we had to remove the luggage to get it out. We made two trips into the lobby got to the registration desk. It was warm in the lobby and now saw fans at the desk. I inquired about what was going on. We were then told the ac was down and had been for three days. I told them I couldn’t stay here . They offered to cancel my reservation and handed me a paper with two hotels listed. One not a Hilton and in Elizabeth. The other in Parsippany at an Embassy Suites now a Hilton brand. I asked them to call and see if there was a handicapped accessible room. They said we can’t do that you go do it yourself. After protesting that was not good customer service the clerk helped me out. I also inquired why I had not been informed earlier about the lack of air conditioning. I had received a message that morning welcoming to the hotel as if nothing was amiss. The reservation got made we went on our way. Not one person offered to help us get the luggage and the wheelchair back to the car. To add insult to this about an hour after we left got an email informing me that the ac was down and offered to cancel our reservation. I am a Hilton honors member. When I travel I stay at Hilton. What a disappointment. Much of this could have been averted with proper management.The lovely Short Hills Hilton where I stayed and dine several year ago is not the same. Hilton you are not well represented by this facility.

The room is clean and comfortable, the service is in place

This review is only my experience after 3 weeks in this place. Not a good one.manager prefers work crews in the area opposed to single business people. Many things went wrong in my room as well as on the property however he always had some excuse. The straw that made me leave was that every weekend there were free for alls and no supervision. People would be drunk and smoking pot and noone in the hotel told them to stop. I was told that I would have a quiet apt for anger stay. Every weekend I got no sleep. One night 2 girls checked in at midnight and kept me up all night which caused me to miss a meeting. The sales woman told me there were no one bedrooms available that weekend so people had to be put in the room under me. Not true. I checked on line I was able to book 3 one bedrooms available. I would never check in with children or even business men. This place is good for truckers only.also truckers were washing their trucks in the small parking lot on weekends. All this place want is too fill rooms. They don't care with whom.

The hotel is generally good, located in Garden State New Jersey. It is worth mentioning that there is a very popular Italian restaurant on the first floor of the hotel. From the beginning of the evening, many people come to eat and drink, very lively and relaxing. The hotel does not have dry cleaning service and has a self-service laundry room. Breakfast is average, the internal facilities of the room are relatively new. Business travel is still quite recommended. But the room cleaning service has to inform the front desk by itself, otherwise it will not come to clean.

This is a business trip, the location of the hotel is very close to the place. Access is also very convenient, the hotel's service is very user-friendly, there will be luggage and no baggage guest passages when queuing check-in, speeding up. The room type is a typical business room, the bathroom towels and toiletries are neatly arranged, and the sheets are clean and white. In general, the health is good. Besides breakfast, there are not many varieties of breakfast, but the taste is good. The next time I will visit this hotel, the only thing that is not good is that I can't extend the check-out time.

Good, clean and quiet, fully equipped, the shower design is a little weird.
