Gardens are fabulous/wonderful/beyond beautiful. Welcome pretty good but little (or no) coordination with the conciergerie - the concierge should be part of the greeting/sign-in process so that all the numerous questions/requests/concerns that accompany the extensive planning of a ”trip of a lifetime” are addressed upon arrival (or assurance that they have been coordinated prior to arrival) - beware that many things have to be arranged in advance or risk being filled-up/unavailable - this includes certain dining reservations, activities, etc. Somewhat complicated to know who/which department handles what - there was a lot of ”oh, housekeeping handles that - call them” or ”Dining handles that - call them” or ”the concierge handles that - call them” or ”oh that's room service - call them.” Don't get me wrong - your needs and desires WILL be met (and with a smile) so these comments are just ”wish I had known” (or better yet, wish they had oriented me upon arrival). Overall service is good or even great but I'd say, ”reactively” as opposed to ”proactively.” However, that fine line is extremely hard for staff to navigate, I fully understand that. In my opinion this property does not quite have the ability at this point in time and development to be able to recruit/develop personnel and procedures quite up to R&C standards - the intent and desire may be there on the part of management but the personnel have a ways way to go with training and sensitivity. I do believe the personnel can get to the right point in time and due course, but more work is needed. On the other hand, there is much to be said for the staff being ”real and authentic” - the last thing I would want is for a property to not feel part of the local culture and people and I would certainly not want to experience the type of elite snobbishness that it's possible to find at R&C properties in some parts of the world (Europe and especially Italy ”get it” just fine, but especially in the U.S, the ”R&C” designation can be an opening for a haughtiness that seems to be bubble under the surface). I guess what I'm saying is that overall I would NOT change the personnel or the attitude or the service at Le Bora Bora - I only comment in order to help them become even better than they already are (which is very good) and to help guests going in feel at ease with expectations and to understand and appreciate the ”local” element of the wonderful place called Bora Bora. And this is a good place to mention the foremost reason you should pick Le Bora Bora over the several other top-tier resorts including Four Seasons and St. Regis: local authenticity. Almost all the resorts are fabulous, but take a look at YouTube to compare rooms: which room could just as well be located in Manhattan? Le Bora Bora definitely stands out with local art and cultural touches). My tips: book activities, spa and dining prior to your visit. Do not miss the spa. Workout room (gym) music (can be crazy loud) is

The breakfast is average, simple but there is everything you should have. Take the kids out. There is a 1.5-meter sofa bed in the living room that can be used by 2 children. The swimming pool is average, but the surrounding environment of the hotel is very good. The hotel has 4 restaurants. I can’t eat I’m used to it, and I strongly recommend bringing more food,

It feels like the hotel is old and a bit outdated compared to the Conrad and other hotels I saw online. Eating is relatively expensive. It is recommended not to go to French restaurants or Chinese buffets during the Chinese New Year. They are expensive and not delicious. For this price, you can eat several of the top domestic buffets. Because we were caught up in a hurricane when we arrived, it was raining and windy all the time, so we didn’t get to do anything, so we just snorkeled and watched fish in the hotel. The snorkeling area has a very good environment and there are many fish. The hotel has a Chinese-speaking butler, which is very nice. The hotel has boats and buses that can take you to the town on the main island, but apart from buying pearls, there is really nothing else in the town. Walking on the road is similar to that in rural areas in China, and there are many wild dogs. Generally speaking, going to Tahiti is not as good as going to the Maldives. The scenery and projects are similar, but the price/performance ratio is not as good as the Maldives. The same goes for hotels.

My wife and I spent 5 nights here recently and we simply cannot rave enough about the experience. We stayed in an overwater bungalow with a plunge pool and it was 5 star, room 207, highly recommend it. The service was impeccable, top to bottom. Everyone on the staff knew our name and treated us like family. The arrival to the property was so special. The property is spectacular with amazing views in every direction. The food was incredible; we really liked the theme night but also enjoyed Sands a ton. Free use of paddle boards, kayaks, snorkeling equipment made it easy to enjoy the water; above and below the surface. We are so grateful for the staff and the entire team for creating such a memorable experience for us. They should be proud of the culture of service, caring and excellence they have created. Well done…we will be back and recommend this property others.

We stayed here knowing that we weren’t going to be spending much time on the property and had planned for one night at a different resort. If you are planning to spend all your time on the resort I don’t think this will be the best option for you but for us it was cheap and served the purpose ◡̈ Resort was clean and they pick you up from the ferry and drive you back for a fee but less than traditional taxi and it’s easy to coordinate with them Breakfast was included which is a great plus for me and it was decent - croissants , eggs, fruit the whole 9. Amenities on site include snorkels for free and kayaks I believe (not completely sure). They also have bikes you can rent for a fee which we used to go to Vaitape , but they also have a shuttle (for a fee) that you can book. If you are coming to Bora Bora to actually explore the island and not just sit on the resort I recommend this hotel for a budget friendly option! Recommend a few nights here and one or two nights at a “fancier” resort to get the full Bora Bora experience

The sea area near this hotel is very good. It is said that the hotel was opened by the second generation of the Chinese rich, but why is it owned by Hilton. It's strange. I think the Chinese food in the hotel is soaring, but it is very good to eat. Try French food. Daily food is average

The place is located in a beautiful and calm spot with matira beach (best in bora bora) just at walking distance. The beach bungalow is amazingly cute and definitely deserve the money compared to a standard room. The coral garden in front of the hotel is beautiful and you can easily encounter some friends in the water :) Only minor complaint is that the wifi connection is terribly bad and works basically only at the reception. But maybe it is a good thing to totally disconnect for a relaxing vacation.

RECEPTION: Check in here seemed to take a little longer than anywhere else we stayed. They wanted a printout of the reservation at this hotel, so it would be in your best interest to print it out at home and take a hard copy with you. This made our check in take even longer as I had to access their WiFi and then forward my reservation to them. However, even though we arrived about an hour early, our room was ready and they showed us where to go. They did not deliver us like the other resorts we stayed at, but this is a smaller resort and it was a short walk. Our luggage was waiting for us when we walked in our room. Check In: 2:00 p.m. Check Out: Is at 11:00 a.m. GROUNDS The grounds are lush and tropical. Really felt like you were in the South Pacific. Tall palm trees and lots of vegetation and flowers. They are well manicured and always clean. Pathways are well lit and easy to maneuver. ROOMS Our room category was a beach bungalow, so we were not over the water, but right on the beach. The interior of the rooms are well appointed with a lot of teak, bamboo and thatch. It really boasted a Polynesian feel. A separate bedroom from the living room that could be closed off by a sliding door. Bathroom, or “wet room” as they call them, had plenty of towels, beach towels, robes, and slippers. You could even choose your own style pillow at this resort. The best part of this room was the sliding door that opened up to your deck, with two lounge chairs and two sitting chairs with a table. Walk off the deck and right onto the beach and into the amazing-colored water that felt like a never-ending swimming pool. Seriously, the size of the lagoon is huge and goes on and on and never went above my waist. They do have buoys in the water so you don’t go out into boat traffic. The water was warm and the area was relatively flat and sandy, with obviously some coral. Water shoes are must because of the presence of sea urchins and coral. The best snorkeling is by the overwater bungalows where they are creating more and more reefs to attract the fish. There is a shower on your deck so you can rinse the sand off your feet before you walk back in your room. Because we had 3 other couples with us, I felt like the whole beach area was private for just our group. It was amazing. There were two complimentary aluminum bottles in our room. Use these for drinking water. There is a filling station by the beach huts and also by the overwater bungalows. We were fortunate as the filling stations was right outside our door. FOOD This was the only place I did not care for our included breakfast. It was okay and it got the job done, but two days the food was cold, and we got there right when they opened. Not as many options as the other two places we stayed, but again, it was included so it filled us for a good portion of the day. Except for breakfast and the Polynesian night, we ate off grounds at Lucky House and Bora Bora Beach Club. These were b
