Dao House was a perfect stay for a family with kids. We rested deeply, got off our devices, and connected with nature. Will definitely be coming again!

Very quiet place to unwind, hiking paths, horse rides and views of Longs Peaks and Twin Peaks far enough out of all town to relaxe between adventures.

carpets were not cleaned. some kind of white matter was all over the carpet. shower curtain was wet and had not been opened to allow to dry. beds were good and shower was good. quiet area.

The property and experience was great. It was nice to immerse into nature and stay in a more rustic lodging. Was not aware that the room did not have its own fridge, and that cellphone reception was non-existent with minimal internet. But it was not a deal breaker and we enjoyed our stay.

We saw one staff member for 10 mins on the day of check in and check out. We were there for 2 nights, our car was the only one besides staff car. I don’t think there were any guests in our building. It was very strange and weird, we never saw any people in the lobby. Reception area was always empty. Room was clean. There are no facilities on the property except water and coffee in the lobby till 8 am.

This property has lots of potential but it seems neglected with no amenities at this point in time. Not even a coffee maker or fridge (or TV, on purpose) in the room. And my phone didn’t work at all when I was there. I was told the property was recently sold so maybe it will be redone in time. When we were there, it was desolate. Only about 4 cars in the parking lot at any given time. It felt a little weird. But like I said, the place has all kinds of potential. But there’s nothing going on there right now.
On the plus side, it’s away from all the bustle of the city, very quiet, kinda quaint, and most importantly clean.

worst experience in my life. no microwave and no small refrigerator in room. no staff on duty in whole place. causing itching in my chest and back with their bed. Guest wifi is a joke and interrupted every 30 minutes (need to restart your phone and reconnect). Also wifi bandwidth is ridiculously slow.
