Azawad Luxury Desert Camp

Azawad Luxury Desert Camp

Errachidia Province
While the room was comfortable enough, we found the experience to be too commercial for us. We took a camel ride to the camp and while my husband and I were by oursleves we travelled in a caravan of about 15 people. The desert itself while looks beautiful you only touch a section of it so can always see town / camps and the desert has a mixture of a lot of people on camels, ATVs, 4x4’s racing around. If you like biking and sand boarding and commercial spots with lots of activities this would be more to your liking. Similar to other reviews I’ve seen, the staff were nice enough but did get the sense they’re there to create a party vibe for big groups. The food was average and strangely enough while it’s an all inclusive type package things like water you need to pay for. Breakfast was very rushed in the morning and we were left a bit confused with no clear instruction of departure time. The rooms were comfortable but the water was luke warm so just a warning in the cold winter months. Tents are very close together and though we had a luxury camp with a private bathroom, privacy is a luxury here. The icing on the cake for us was when we went back to main hotel in the morning and while we were waiting for our transfer we tried to get a cup of coffee that we were happy to pay for and the waiter was really rude to us brushing us off twice with a “I’m busy”. Would recommend this company if you’re young, big group and looking for some commercial fun otherwise would suggest exploring other options.

Kasbah Hotel Tombouctou

Hassilabied|1.39km from downtown
The managers of the Tombouctou Hotel in Merzouga really have the art and gift of making your stay unpleasant and regrettable. For the sceptics who want to do the adventure (or rather the misaventure), the suspension is guaranteed until the last moment of the departure. In the case of our small group (amies), a manager came to stop the bus that transported us to the airport. Everyone thought he brought her a valuable object that she had to forget. Except that at the general surprise, the manager came to claim to the client the price of a small bottle of mineral water of 50 cl (à 10 dirhams pour l'occasion !) while she just paid the charges d The hotel is a place to enjoy the most beautiful and beautiful views of the city. The rooms are clean and clean and the rooms are clean and clean. A real mass coup for Moroccan tourism that complains of a difficult situation when it fails to satisfy a national client that replaces a foreign client, The most important thing is the introduction of a new and more widely developed, and the most important thing is the introduction of a new and more widely developed, more widely developed and more widely developed, more widely developed, more widely developed and more widely developed, more widely developed, more widely developed and more widely developed, more widely developed, more widely developed and more widely developed, more widely developed, more widely developed and more widely developed, more widely developed, more widely developed and more wide A pureness, a rooted service culture, a convenience that does not leave anyone indifferent... In short, this welcome hostel is a window of Moroccan tourism that doesn't want anything to the great capitals of the world. Asmae

Hassilabiad Appart Hotel
4.9/544 Reviews
We have been on a road trip from Marrakech to see the dunes. This has been the best hotel we stayed in on our roadtrip. The staff are so genuinely pleasant, friendly and accommodating. I am a vegan with additional diet restrictions due to my health, and I was catered for with freshly cooked healthy meals. A huge shout out to Moha, the chef, who prepared our meals fresh. His passion comes out in the food. He is such a pleasant fun guy. I recommend giving your order in good time as everything is prepared fresh. The receptionist, Hassan, really made us feel right at home. I spent a night at a tented camp (15min drive only), and unfortunately, had a rough night. The next day, I was slightly unwell, and I returned back to the hotel, because I knew I will be comfortable. Hassan was most kind in arranging a room, so welcoming and accommodating to the fact that I was not well. Just what one needs when you are unwell and on holiday. The location of this hotel allows you to arrange a trip into the dunes (15min drive), the hotel will also help arrange camel rides etc...you can also visit the Gnaoua (traditional music) and nomad families all about 10min by car (4x4 car is needed) Speak to Hassan or any staff, and they can help with this. You can go to the dunes and experience sunset / sunrise and come back to this wonderfully comfortable hotel for breakfast or dinner. Whilst the rooms have all the modern necessities, such as perfect working AC, comfortable beds, spacious bathrooms / nice shower, the rooms and hotel have a brilliant feel of the culture. It's a new hotel who are doing everything right. I cannot recommend this place any higher.

This maintained hotel facility is especially suited as a stop on the way from Fes to Ouarzazate. Friendly reception and large rooms that are grouped around the courtyards or roof terraces. The facility has a pool, restaurant & bar. At my stay at 17.Juni, there were hardly hotel guests in the hotel - this was perhaps the reason why the bar seemed closed. The restaurant made us a delicious dinner with salad, chickens & vegetables, fruit. Breakfast (no buffet) was ok. Price-performance ratio good. If there is something to defect, then above all the dirty seating in the pool and restaurant area. These seem to be permanently on the chairs (even night ?) and are apparently used as a seat by birds. Preferably unpleasant to sit on such chairs and that must actually be seen by the staff. For a short stay the hotel is in any case OK.

Ksar Bicha
4.5/515 Reviews
We spent two nights at Ksar Bicha. One night in the hotel, and the second night camping in the ‘superior’ tents. The hotel property is lovely and the staff were excellent. The pool is so refreshing. We spent the afternoon by the pool after a really cool 4x4 excursion where we learned about the origins of mascara and met a Berber nomadic family. Our ‘golden hour’ camel ride to the desert was truly memorable. The desert camp exceeded my expectations. Our tent had a western toilet, a sink and a shower with hot water, which was appreciated after the 2.5hr camel ride to the camp. The food at Ksar Bicha and the camp was truly excellent. We really enjoyed our stay!
Luxury Camp Chebbi

Go to the hotel gathering point outside the desert, ride a camel from the desert entrance to the camp, watch the Sahara sunset on the way, dinner package (pumpkin soup, taji cheese vegetables, yellow curry chicken, fruit salad, sheep milk yogurt), welcome ceremony for African drum performances after dinner, stargazing and galaxy at night, In the morning, the desert sunrise, sandboarding after breakfast, you can book a four-wheel drive motorcycle out of the desert. This tent camp is very new. The tent provides bathroom and shower room, as well as a gas tank heater. The room is very warm and well equipped! There is no 🦟 and 🦂️ in winter.
