Amazing resort, quite far from San Juan so it is easy to get away from the crowds and visit the more peaceful areas of the island. The owner has been here 17 years and has 37 years hotel experience in the Philippines. You can tell as everything is super efficient and very customer focussed and welcoming. The homemade bread is excellent, and the swimming pool clean. The pool is very deep in parts so always take care! The food portions are MASSIVE and very tasty! Thanks for a wonderful stay.

We recently stayed at Kalachuchi Beach Resort and absolutely loved it! Located about 30 minutes from the port, this secluded gem offers a tranquil escape with its own private beach. The villas are spacious and comfortable, with two large beds and hot/cold showers. We appreciated the quiet and secluded atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The staff were incredibly welcoming and the food at the restaurant was delicious and generous in portion size. The resort boasts a lovely pool and a private beach, ideal for swimming and sunbathing. While WiFi is limited to the reception, pool, and restaurant area, the lack of mobile signal actually encouraged us to truly disconnect and enjoy our vacation. A note for travelers: The Google Maps location is inaccurate, so be sure to double-check directions before arriving. My daughter and I have been away from Siquijor and Kalachuchi for five days, but the breathtaking scenery, the warm-hearted people, and the memories we made there remain vivid in our minds. Kalachuchi is a beautiful and magical beach resort. On the day we checked in, the front desk had even prepared a personalized welcome sign for us, and the owner greeted us in Chinese, which made us feel truly welcomed. The resort’s architecture and decor, primarily made from natural wood, exude a rustic and artistic charm. The restaurant faces the sea and serves delicious food; the courtyard features a serene swimming pool; and the rooms, mostly standalone two-story cabins, offer peaceful nights. The entire resort is surrounded by some of the most stunning coastline we’ve ever seen. We unfortunately got injured on our way back to the resort after an overly enthusiastic adventure with tree vines and diving. The owner and the staff offered us so much help and support, even preparing handmade wooden canes for us and assisting with all kinds of unexpected needs. Their kindness and thoughtfulness meant a great deal to us and made us feel safe and cared for during a difficult moment. Thank you to everyone at Kalachuchi for your warm hospitality and generous help. We’re truly grateful, and we believe our paths will cross again someday.

Perfect except Wifi. I reccomand if you are OK without intrrnet, but it is fast at the restaurant. Other thing is best

We stayed two night with family.My wife and kids were amazed and happy about the room. It took 15-20mim from the Sipuijor port by taxi, where doesn't locate in the downtown. I suggest you rent a bike in the hotel or from the port. If you do so, you can travel to anywhere easily and enjoy the quiet and relaxing enviorement of this hotel. Both swimming pool and private beach are awasome, safe and beautiful. We had so much fun. We really appreciate to the owner for all their kindness. Lastly the breakfast isn’t buffet, it is continental. The quality of foods are amazing. Highly recommend!!

This time, we encountered an unprecedented typhoon in Siquijor Island, and we happened to be leaving this hotel. I initially thought it was a problem with the hotel, but it turned out the entire island had no hot water, no electricity, and no internet. I especially loved the dogs at this hotel. It's perfect for travelers looking for a hotel vacation. They have their own private beach, and they charge guests who aren't staying at the hotel. The stars at night were incredibly beautiful; I managed to take some pictures. I can't believe such a paradise exists. I really miss the restaurant there; the food was excellent, especially the breakfast. I regret not ordering dinner. On our last day, the dogs chased after us for a long time, which brought tears to my eyes. I will definitely come back to stay here again! Thank you! The owner is a Swiss gentleman; thank you for letting me experience a fairytale life.

The bungalows are superb and the pool is very pleasant. The owner is very welcoming and it's very quiet.

It's absolutely fantastic. I'd love to see the owner's dog, Rambo. The pool is also fantastic. The individually prepared breakfast is delicious. The water is of excellent quality. Don't miss the sunrise.

Everything was great here. The main thing is the atmosphere created by the owner and the hotel staff. You feel like you're visiting friends. I didn't find any problems with the Wi-Fi. This is the best resort that makes you fall in love with Siquijor. I think it was enough compensation for the ferry ride that took almost 3 hours. First of all, the accommodation consists of 5~6 private villas on two floors. Each floor has a queen-sized bed, so up to 4 people can stay. The furniture in the rooms and the bathroom are well-prepared in many ways. One thing that is disappointing is that there is no hair dryer. The biggest advantage of this place is probably the restaurant with the best view. The breakfast and the regular meal menu were all delicious, and the price was reasonable. Above all, all the staff were really friendly. Despite my limited English skills, they understood me and welcomed me, so I didn't feel burdened at all. One tip: they don't accept cards or dollars, and only accept pesos. I was really embarrassed because they said the nearest currency exchange office was near the port (500 pesos one way by tuk-tuk). The owner happened to have something to do in the city, so I was able to solve the problem thanks to them exchanging money for me. Thank you for everyone!

The best place on the island. I liked everything very much, polite staff, friendly owner of the houses. Everything is very clean, thought out, very quiet. They cook very tasty in the restaurant, large portions for breakfast.
