This was our 3 Rd time to stay in The Ocean Sands. It is very centrally located in Enniscrone. the staff are always friendly. Our room was excellent. There is good underground parking also.
It is a great family oriented hotel

Terrible service and grubby
This hotel has the potential to be fantastic but in my opinion it was the wirst hotel experience I've ever had anywhere in the world. I have nothing positive to say about our experience

I had 3 kids and we stayed in the family room and the stay was very nice, clean, staff friendly. The only down fall is there is only one price €15 for breakfast. 1 child had a croissant and this cost me €15
I think there should be a cheaper price for kids.

Highly Recommended
This hotel was very nice. We had a very spacious comfortable room. Breakfast was good with lots of variety. Sea views and location amazing. Highly recommend

Nice but not 4*
We had one of the apartments with a balcony detached from the actual hotel and up a flight of stairs. Room was tastefully decorated and bathroom was amazing but needed balcony repairs, replacing dead plants in window boxes and walls in bedroom had a lot of scuffs and high window was filthy with cobwebs. Bed comfortable but provided with an oil filled radiator didn’t make sense as temp gauge on wall? Nice touches like nespresso machine and mini fridge (which is noisy) but be prepared for no WiFi connection as we tried for entire stay and never got connected . Other thing to be careful with if a function on these apartments can’t hide from the noise and there was a lot last night so always pre check before booking

Hotel was fabulous as usual but dinner was awful, came out cold twice, in fairness we were not charged but I’d much prefer pay and enjoy it 😡
