Hotels in Enniscorthy Reviews

4.5/5101 Reviews
I booked the hotel in March for stay in October for a group of 14. Mothers & daughters to celebrate two 40th Birthdays. I contacted 18 hotels with same email for prices etc. On my initial email contact I got a reply from a girl called Clair. She was so so lovely, she was so nice that I decided to book the hotel for our weekend away. Every email and call were always friendly. Clair advised that dinner/ breakfast had to be pre-booked which I done at the time. Clair was just brilliant, a genuinely nice person. So a few weeks before our trip another girl emailed regarding the booking, lets just say she was not Clair. I got bold letters in email saying breakfast and dinner do need to be booked. They were booked since March. After a couple of hiccups on the week we were due to go (they were sorted in the end), we got there. The check-in was extremely busy as there was a wedding arriving but it was grand, no issue at all. One room wasn't ready (got others checked 45 mins early, so not a problem). Key was ready at 4. When I returned for this key I noticed the lovely girl who had checked us all in was in fact Clair, she was yet again so so lovely and kind. Every time we passed she said hi, made sure there was nothing we needed. The rooms were really really lovely, no real problems with anything. We had dinner in the Alamo on Friday night, it was fabulous. The staff were brilliant, every single one of them were fantastic. We went to the bar afterwards it was lovely, found tables chairs to have few drinks and listen to music. On Saturday morning for breakfast we sat in the Bar area and Mossy came to talk to me about our stay and our dinner booking that night. He is so lovely, a genuinely nice guy. At dinner in the Mooring that night he was there for the duration chatted to us all and made sure everything was perfect. The food was just as fabulous in here. Couldn't fault a single thing with either dinner or breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay here and it is a fabulous hotel. If there were awards for Best Staff Clair & Mossy should get them hands down. There was a girl at breakfast Saturday morning who came in and served us, I did not get her name but she was excellent also.
