The bedroom and bathroom were very dated and are in need of renovating. The bedroom definitely needed a bedside table on both sides of the bed , to put a cup and a phone etc. The staff were helpful and friendly. The location is beautiful in the Veluwe.

I have just returned from a 5 day Shearings coach holiday in Holland staying at the Hotel Mennorode in Elspeet. An interesting Hotel set in deep forest with no transport links to any local facilities. Hotel is set in deep forest approx 1 mile from local Village of Elspeet. No street lighting so not easy to walk to village at night. Whilst the food provided at the Hotel Mennorode was acceptable, particularly the breakfast, the dinner buffet was not portion controlled therefore they ran out of some food. Substitutes were offered but looked remarkably like the previous evenings meal. Be aware tap water is charged for! The Hotel bed room was cramped and whilst we had single occupation in a twin room there was no bedside shelf/table, no chair and having a sink in the bedroom was not helpful. Beds were very soft and pillows very soft too. Room was clean and daily housekeeping provided but no tea/coffee replenished. No cups only cardboard cups provided. No air conditioning in this Hotel either. The staff at our Hotel were very nice and could not be faulted.

Friendly welcome but nothing more to do on Saturday evening. Next morning follow the arrows to the fitness center which turned out to be closed. The billiard sheet was broken. the location is fantastic, but the shower is worthless!!

We spent two nights in this hotel with friends. Nice spacious room. Bathroom slightly less luxurious, but also well cared for. The hotel was wonderfully located in the woods, with plenty of parking spaces. Friendly staff. For dinner we had a choice of a 3 course menu with excellent meals. Also plenty of choice at breakfast.

Large conference center with hotel accommodation, beautifully situated in the wooded area of Elspeet. The emphasis at Mennorode is clearly on the conference and meeting function.. this hotel is less suitable or rather, not "cosy" for tourists who want to explore the area for a few days. The building is quite dated.. various parts such as toilets are in need of renovation. Our "premium" room was ok, good beds, somewhat cramped bathroom facilities. The restaurant offered little choice, but the standard 3-course menu was good. Friendly smooth service. Breakfast enough choice.. just good. Tip for the front office...prefer less robotic behavior. Our booking for 2 people, shown to a lady, was entered incorrectly in the hotel system. But the lady kept repeating that we had booked incorrectly. Just got stuck in that groove. Irritating! Furthermore... around the building there are many ashtrays for smokers. Good service, but clean them regularly.

Afgelopen weekend in de glamping tent bij Mennorode was echt een geweldige ervaring! De gastvrijheid viel meteen op, en het sanitair was super schoon, wat het verblijf nog aangenamer maakte. Het hoogtepunt was natuurlijk het diner in het restaurant. Een fantastisch 4-gangenmenu, echt van topkwaliteit – we hebben genoten van elke gang. Wat ook leuk was, is dat we een prachtige plek zagen die perfect lijkt voor groepen om een feest te vieren. Een ideale locatie voor een speciale gelegenheid, met alles wat je nodig hebt voor een geslaagde dag. Al met al een heerlijk weekendje weg, zeker voor herhaling vatbaar!

Op vrijdagmiddag 6 september 2024 arriveerde ik samen met een vriendin bij Mennorode voor een ontspannen weekendje weg. We werden warm verwelkomd en de incheck verliep snel en soepel. Vervolgens genoten we van een heerlijk drankje op het zonnige terras. De avond bracht ons een voortreffelijk culinair 4-gangendiner met een mooi bijpassend wijnarrangement, zorgvuldig samengesteld door Daniel. Wat ons tijdens het hele verblijf opviel, was de buitengewone vriendelijkheid en behulpzaamheid van het personeel. Zowel de binnenruimtes als de buitenfaciliteiten van Mennorode zijn uitstekend onderhouden en alles was schoon en fris. Complimenten aan het hele team! Onze (eerste) ervaring in een glampingtent overtrof onze verwachtingen. De tent was ruim en comfortabel, met een charmante overdekte veranda waar we ’s ochtends genoten van een rijk gevulde ontbijtmand die tot aan de tent werd bezorgd. Het ontbijtbuffet in het restaurant zag er overigens ook verrukkelijk uit. Daarnaast was de tent uitgerust met een handig koelkastje en de bedden boden een goed slaapcomfort. Op zaterdag gingen we op pad met de elektrische fietsen van Mennorode en volgden een schitterende route van 40 kilometer door de bosrijke omgeving. Zondag sloten we ons ontspannen weekend af met een bezoek aan een nabijgelegen saunacomplex. Mennorode is wat mij betreft een aanrader voor een weekendje weg, maar biedt ook volop mogelijkheden voor bijvoorbeeld grote zakelijke evenementen. Het is een locatie die alles in huis heeft voor een geslaagd verblijf.
