The room is large but not clean enough and without air con. The staff are helpful and friendly. For the location, it is next to the city centre so there are many restaurant nearby and there are many options that we can choose. However, the hotel is difficult to find and hair dryer, body wash and shampoo are not provided.

The view from the breakfast balcony was amazing and the breakfast was delicious. We asked for extra pancakes! The staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean. It is a short walk to the city centre - good location because it is quiet.

What's the most important thing in traveling? It is of course a high-quality accommodation for the hotel control.
The EKHO hotel is on the edge of Eller town, not far from the main street, making it easy to travel. The characteristics of a good hotel are: clean, quiet, comfortable and modern, rich breakfast, and warm staff. Seems very ordinary ... However, isn't it very unusual to encounter a hotel without regret during the trip.
ok, for the fun of travel, recommend it!

Дружелюбные хозяйки, очень добрые и приветливые, никаких проблем не было. Балкон с прекрасным видом на достопримечательности Еллы. Единственный минус это немного грязная постель и с крыши постоянно падала что то черное и по ночам там что то бегало) но это Шри ланка, проблемы с полом и потолком здесь распространены.

We were as a family for two nights in this nice accommodation. The host is warm and nice and meets every wish. The rooms are super clean, the bathroom is a little rustic but you see that you have made a lot of effort. Very good breakfast, but you should pre-order it in the evening.

We have stayed in a family room for one night on a busy long weekend & wished we could stay longer there. With the narrow approach road & parking, which is common to the Ella area, we had doubts , but the owner Mr Manjula & his staff were attentive & had solutions to the comfort of every guest with no hazzle. Food was very tasty & served on time & though the place was full we were welcome any time with good sevice even at short notice. Room with Beddings & Bath were clean & nice and had enough space. View from the room balcony of Ella rock was pleasing & with greenery around, the birds were a plenty with their songs. Though it was a short stay, with their little input from staff we could use the time well & visited the surrounding attractions & it was time well spent. All in all we really enjoyed our stay & so a big Thank you to Rock side Inn.

It is located on a hill side where the entry road is a bit too steep for vans to get up and down. If you are travelling with the private van, you may need to get off and to walk up to the hotel. it's not a too long walk but it's a steep one. Also, you will need to walk up to the stairs to your room and your toilet inside the room is not on the same level as your room so be prepared to have quite a lot of stairs walk.
The hotel's balcony has a beautiful little Adam's Peak view and it's the best part of staying there.
There is air-con for people looking for a hotel in Ella with this.

The staff is polite and gives you the space you need to gather yourself after a long journey on the winding road. Close to the restaurant is the tea house, arguably the best. The variety of teas is beautifully packaged, making them ideal for spreading gifts or offering their own gifts in a variety of mixed flavors. The price is reasonable and the knowledge about tea is admirable marketing. The tea factory in the building next door and the wonderful tea garden behind it make you worth a visit.
