Stayed for two nights on a dbb meal on the first night included hotel has had a full refurbishment which is lovely our room was nice and big and bathroom full walk in shower I was a bit concerned before we went at some reviews about the rooms but i needed have worried also people were complaining about the restaurant saying they waited a long time for there food but we didn’t experience that Carrie and Lucy looked after us very well in fact we ate there the second night to the only criticism we had was my husband had the sirloin steak the first night which he said was excellent but the second night he had it again but it was tough and not as tasty when asked if we enjoyed our food we told Lucy the steak was tough and not as good as the night before to which she replied it was a different chef which should’ve have made that difference also no mushrooms at breakfast which apparently they don’t use which I find most strange as they are always a breakfast item , but it wouldn’t stop us recommending the hotel the offer we had was very good value and staff very friendly.
