Premier Inn Southampton (Eastleigh)

Never visit the bar and restaurant. The duty manager is convinced this is her restaurant and is extremely unpleased and rude. I ordered a beer on offer 2-1 asking the kind bar lady to serve me to second one after I'm done with the first. When I appeared to pick up the second one, shee appeared to tell of the staff member to pour two at the time when the promo is used. I politly replied that the second beer would be not tasty after several minutes and asked if you are the supervisor. In reply I wast told its her restaurant. I politly replied that it not her restaurant and she only work here. This was the top for this lady and she had trented me that I would have to leave if I behave like this. Unreal

Just got back from a 4 night stay, and the Premier Inn did not let us down. The reception staff were pleasant and made you feel welcome, they always said hello when you walked in. The rooms were clean and fresh. The hotel itself was clean and fresh There was ample car parking The attached restaurant (The Gateway) did not seem busy during our stay, but yet always expected you to book rather than walk in. Amazing stay, Pat the lovely receptionist went above and beyond to help us throughout the duration of our stay And the staff in the restaurant were lovely very accommodating for families Woukd highly recommend staying here 5 stars from us :)

Excellent assistance from restaurant manager Jody dealing with our large group in this weekend. Obviously well used to dealing with multiple payments in large bills as was very slick and easy. Food itself was good - catered for our meat, veggie and vegan diets. Definitely recommend. Thankyou Jody for making our weekend so easy.

Mostly friendly staff, day 3, walk in for brekkie - have you booked sir, yes 08:00, can’t find your booking, next slot 09:30 - fair enough (I couldn’t wait, looked like loads of free tables to me) But what isn’t acceptable is help yourself to juices, apple juice, cranberry juicy and orange SQUASH What are you thinking Whitbread (who own Premier Inn) the working people of this world expect at least some decent orange juice, even watered down carton orange juice but not cheap, weak, orange squash. To be honest the room stank too, there are better alternatives for the price (over £100 a night)

If everyday cleaning of room is not a norm, please let your customers know beforehand or display such notices in the room. Very poor condition of the room and I would be better of spending my money with Travelodge for the service I received.

From our arrival we got a warm friendly welcome from Athena. Jack in the restaurant again was so helpful. They were both so helpful due to a sick child and made everything easier for our group. The hotel is well placed. Clean and good soundproofing as on a major road.

Needed a place to stay for a week while visiting UK from Spain. The hotel was well located for us with easy access to the M27 & M3. It was quiet and comfortable with very friendly helpful staff. Disappointed to find baths in the accommodation instead of showers. Actually had a fall when showering in a very slippery bath.

Stayed whilst working locally in Chandlers Ford and it was a great location for this as it’s just down the road and right on the M3. The place was nice and clean, room was comfortable (aren’t all Premier Inns?) and the staff were friendly and helpful.
