Good for transit near airport

Very friendly staff, very courteous and knowledgeable. Jason and Dave the duty manager were very kind to weary travellers, they gave excellent advice. They were able to inform of travel disruption and walking times to departure gates. Highly appreciate their help.

Good price. Walk to hotel from the airport at night is very dark and didn’t feel very safe. Check in is self service but I am yet to find one of these that work for the whole check in. When it’s busy that’s a nightmare waiting. Room smelled really bad and was freezing cold, the window had been left open presumably to air the room. Pillows were hard so swapped for the spare ones in the wardrobe however these smelt really moth Bally. To be fair I don’t go and ask for another room as it was late and and I was tired so just went to sleep. I am sure they would have swapped the room if I had asked. Over all not the usual premier inn standards.

The most unhappy and unwelcome team I’ve ever seen in a hotel and restaurant. Couldn’t believe how rude everyone was. No stock for dinner or the bar. The team more interested in their phone than getting genuine sales in the till.

The best Premier Inn I have stayed in. Brilliant value for money, amazing shower, really comfortable bed, everything clean and tidy. There are regular busses running into Southampton so why pay double the price to stay in a Premier Inn in the city center. An all day bus rider is £8.50 for 5 people. Parking is £6 for 24 hours at the hotel and there were plenty of spaces. There was No noise from the airport that we experienced. We will 100% stay there again.

I was allocated a room on the third floor which faced Southampton Airport and the car park Unfortunately, although the room was clean and tidy and the Airport runway was fun to watch in the evening I was woken up at 0130am Although the soundproofing was all closed including the air vents I could still hear HGV lorries going into the Royal mail sorting centre which is opposite the hotel. These lorries continued all night and I fell asleep again about 4:30 am. I I told reception when I went down to have breakfast all they were prepared to offer me was a free breakfast unfortunately when I asked Customer Services about the good night sleep guarantee they said this wasn’t covered and they weren’t prepared to do anything
