This is one of our favorite hotels. Every little detail is thought of and the place is spotlessly clean. Highly recommend. And the Rock Bar on the 10th floor is awesome.

Suggestion, it would be nice if each room had an ice bucket and an ice machine on each floor or at least a floor.
Also, another suggestion is to offer snacks/drinks for purchase at the front desk for guests arriving later in the day/evening considering the coffee/food station is only open until 3pm on weekdays.

Our stay at the Graduate in East Lansing was great. It was located downtown with self park a block away or valet parking. It was clean and quiet with excellent water pressure in a walk in shower. New, fresh white sheets and large fluffy towels. A coffee shop cafe at the entrance. Staff was friendly and helpful. Definitely will stay here again. Highly recommended!

The room was nice, decorated better than most hotels I’ve stayed in. The staff were very friendly. It was extremely quiet. If I had to find one fault, it would be with the hotel’s valet parking. It was very understaffed on my Saturday morning check out on 1/27/24. Many of the customers that had paid and presumably tipped to have their cars brought up, ended up taking their keys and walking to their cars.
That said, the young man that was working the valet podium, appeared to be by himself, and was giving a tremendous effort. He called for back up, which did not come, so he was running a quarter of mile at a time to keep up. He deserves a raise. And, I get the feeling that happens more than occasionally since there’s a long table with about 12 chairs that people can sit around while they wait. It’s a point that management needs to address. Overall though the experience was positive.
