The room was nice, decorated better than most hotels I’ve stayed in. The staff were very friendly. It was extremely quiet. If I had to find one fault, it would be with the hotel’s valet parking. It was very understaffed on my Saturday morning check out on 1/27/24. Many of the customers that had paid and presumably tipped to have their cars brought up, ended up taking their keys and walking to their cars.
That said, the young man that was working the valet podium, appeared to be by himself, and was giving a tremendous effort. He called for back up, which did not come, so he was running a quarter of mile at a time to keep up. He deserves a raise. And, I get the feeling that happens more than occasionally since there’s a long table with about 12 chairs that people can sit around while they wait. It’s a point that management needs to address. Overall though the experience was positive.
