Holiday Inn - the niu, Tab Dusseldorf Main Station: The three letters t, a, and b stand for Tokyo, Art & Beer, and thus for various cultural influences that make Dusseldorf so exciting and diverse. Inspired by Germany's largest Japanese community in the trendy "Little Tokyo" district, the city's famous artists, and of course the traditional Altbier, the design picks up Asian elements as well as rustic furniture and modern murals. Have a seat in our living lobby, meet friends, or use the co-working space for surfing or working. By the way, free high-speed WiFi is available in the entire building, even in the rooms. At the 24-hour reception you can always get tips, help, and snacks as well. For breakfast, we welcome you to the buffet. You can park your car in our underground garage for a fee - that's practical because our Holiday Inn - the niu, Tab Dusseldorf Main Station is centrally located near the main train station and is perfect for exploring the city on foot or by public transport. From our large terrace you have a beautiful view of the Bürgerpark. Likewise, some of our 438 double rooms, of which are wheelchair accessible. The other rooms offer a view of the city. Twin beds, a 43"" smart TV, and a Bluetooth sound system promise modern comfort. If you come with a child, we will set up an extra bed or a baby crib for you. Look forward to experiencing Dusseldorf and feel at home staying at our Holiday Inn - the niu, Tab Dusseldorf Main Station!

I was put up at the Niu Tab for a night by my company as a company event took place nearby. So were a number of my colleagues. I quite enjoyed my short stay. Most of my colleagues liked the hotel as well. The rooms weren’t very spacious, but were clean, stylishly decorated, and equipped with TV, A/C, a safe and a hairdryer. No minibar or coffee/tea making facilities, though, which we would have liked upon our arrival as we had gotten stuck in traffic for hours and were quite thirsty. Breakfast was buffet style and was very good. Lots of choices, fresh, well-prepared food. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. One point of criticism: when we arrived at shortly after 4 p.m., only about half of our key cards had been programmed. I was one of the lucky ones who got their cards right away, but some of my colleagues had to wait for over half an hour. I call that lack of organisation, particularly since we arrived much later than planned.

Located in a quiet part of the city, with beautiful surroundings and beautiful paintings in every room (not just 1 but 5!) Spacious too, even for the triple room (which has a single bed added).
Owned by a Chinese gentleman who speaks Mandarin, English and German (maybe more but I didn't get to find out). He was really helpful and gave us free transport cards. Overnight parking in the basement for 12euro per night which is reasonable considering how expensive parking fees are in the city.
Most highly recommended!!!

The hotel is very clean, breakfast you have a good selection of fresh regional high quality food. The rooms are cozy and also very clean. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The car is very dry and safe in the deep garage of the hotel. Lifts are available. The location of the hotel is super metro and S-train and the city centre/old city are well accessible walking. We are happy to come back.

The rudeness of a young staff member spoiled our stay at this lovely hotel. Started off at checking in a young man at the checking desk handed in a piece of paper to my husband asking him to sign that without explanation what it was. Next he asked my husband to put his credit card to pay for a stay. Although my husband said he had already paid for the 3 night stay, the boy asked him again to put the card in the card reader which my husband did. After repeating that the stay had been already paid for the young man checked on his computer and asked his colleague for help (cancelling transaction?)he also said that it was nothing to worry about. Then I suggested that we had to check next time whether customer has already paid or hasn’t- so with a very cold face he told me off for my attitude saying that everything was going to be ok. Thanks God we had more money than what was locked on the bank account otherwise we would be in trouble. When I suggested that little ‘I’m sorry’ would help the situation the young member of staff said he did not have anything to apologise for. Not at all a warm welcome in the very beginning made us feel very disappointed and me and my hubby would not recommend staying at the Moxy Hotel. The staff that we met next morning was nicer and helpful, continental breakfast was good and hotel’s design is quirky and has many comfy places to lounge. There is an AppleMac with the internet which is very helpful when exploring things to do in Düsseldorf. Our room was cleaned every day, the hotel seems to be quite a clean place although there is a one friendly mouse running between seats in the lounge.

It is very close to the airport and the price is relatively cheap. Very convenient. The facilities are very rudimentary. Will go to sleep. The room is small. Went early without breakfast. Could not comment. . . . It is a good choice for less demanding packages. Of course, it is best to drive by yourself. Quiet. There are several supermarkets nearby. Need to drive. In short, the price of choice.

I arrived late after missing a flight out of Dusseldorf. The friendly female on shift (from Brazil) was absolutely excellent in dealing with me. The beer was good, the food was nice enough and the bar staff were friendly. Will definitely be back to this location should I ever be at Dusseldorf Airport.

I didn't expect this hotel next to the airport to be so good. It is spacious, bright and comfortable, and the lobby is also very bright. I used to live next to the Sheraton, but now it seems that the Sheraton is so bad. . .

We were here with friends to celebrate a birthday nearby. The hotel is somewhat remote in an industrially used area. It is therefore very quiet in the area. The house is quite new and functionally furnished. The rooms are quite large and clean and the beds are comfortable. Breakfast was not very rich, but sufficient. The hotel has a limited parking area for 12 euros, which is not necessary, there are free parking facilities in the rather lonely area. The hotel is operated with a minimum staff, that was not a disadvantage. All the staff we had contact with were very friendly and helpful. For something less than 100 euros we received a very good night stay.

GGuest UserNew hotel near the train station on a pedestrian street with 2 other hotels. All Very nicely done. Very convenient location. Great pool, sauna and exercise room on top floor, included in price of room. We had the basic room, which is large with a kitchenette, with dishwasher and washing machine, well equipped kitchen. The beds were very comfortable. The layout of the room was ok, but we have stayed in Berlin and Frankfort Adina hotels and liked their layouts better. The service from all the staff was excellent. Cleaners, reception, dining room. All went out of their way to help us. The receptionists really helped us a lot with our issues, and unfortunately, we had issues while in Dusseldorf. Breakfast was very good, but Berlin and Frankfurt were fantastic, so we were disappointed. I waited for half an hour to get a decaffeinated cup of coffee. The waitress was in tears over how long it took for her to bring it out. To someone who hasn’t been in those hotels, you will be fine. Bathroom towels were medium size only. no small hand towels and no large bath towels. Minor point but annoying. No air conditioning, and we had to open our windows. Make sure to ask for a side of the building that is quiet if you are there in the summer.
GGuest UserGreat hotel with friendly staff, clean environment, good breakfast and convenient parking in the garage with discount. Location nearby the Japanese street and shopping street.
J'ai donc dû me débrouiller moi-même.
TTJThe heating was on in the room full blast when I entered — not very eco-friendly, and hard to cool down the room using the confusing room temperature controller.
Furnishings felt a bit worn and out of date. For some reason, they put a second desk in the room, positioned at an awkward angle to the bed in front of the window, taking up floor space.
Nothing of any interest in the surrounding area — if I didn’t have business in the area, I wouldn’t stay here.
A high point was the breakfast buffet, which was very extensive, with many choices.
GGuest UserLocation is good, 150m or so away from the station. Be aware it's a slightly seedy area, sex shops and the like opposite and nearby, but that's just how it is and there are plenty of chain hotels nearby. The aircon didn't work when I arrived - there's a strange spongy plastic box on the wall that's meant to control it, but pressing hard so that the orange light lit up did nothing. Went to reception and they said it would be fixed. When I woke next morning it was magically on. so they must have enabled it from the master control or something. The same can't be said of the fridge, it lights up but does nothing - remains room temperature. This wasn't fixed, despite me mentioning it to reception along with the aircon. Room itself is fine - high ceilings, comfy bed, TV with a couple of English channels (BBC World News and Sky News International). Shower is strange, like some sort of Mr Bean scenario. There is a grooved channel which slides up and down to allow you to adjust the height, but it's using friction so the shower gradually slides down, and the heard flops to one side due to water pressure. Cue lots of Mr Bean style fiddling and faff. Towels are really small, more like hand towels. Lots of noise outside, not just trams starting 5am but occasional rowdy people - I don't think it's double glazed. Didn't wake me up though, but if you're a light sleeper request a room at the back. Room cleaning knocked 10.15 and next day barged in at 9.25, so make sure you use the ”do not disturb”, which I had trouble finding (it was in a cubby hole near the wardrobe rail). So, overall it's ok, but I've stayed at better hotels in Dusseldorf for less money.
JJingOne of my favorite hotels in the world, none of them are hotels of the Medici Family Art Museum. Rolls-Royce spare car, more than 500 years old antique copper embossed door handle, king's red seat ..., museum-level sculpture, tapestry ... Unfortunately, the newly renovated room replaced the old oil painting ... Still love Medici
GGuest UserI stayed at this hotel for two days when visiting Düsseldorf with my family. The hotel is well located, at the end of Königsallee, the city’s main shopping street. A subway station is located just across the street. There are also a couple of restaurants across the street and two supermarkets behind the hotel. We stayed in a twin room on the top floor which was clean and reasonable in terms of size. The sink was broken but water didn’t leak. The breakfast buffet has few options for a 4-star hotel, there is hardly any fruit and milk alternatives are not available in the buffet, you need to order. Be very careful with charges to your credit cards. The hotel blocked 350 euros on my credit card upon arrival and this amount was not released when I paid for my stay. It’s been a month that I stayed at this hotel and they are still withholding the amount.
GGuest UserWould definitely recommend this hotel. All staff are very welcoming and the hotel is spotlessly clean. It is close to the airport and has an excellent transport link into Dusseldorf just outside the hotel. Having stayed many times we would never consider looking elsewhere. They have a lovely bar to relax in when you get back from all the wonderful sites and shops in the City and the bar staff are very friendly and attentive. You can't go wrong if you book into this hotel.
Stayed here for a night and had a good experience. Clean and modern rooms, quiet and friendly and proffessional staff. Te location between city and airport is quite good, there are restaurants and bars nearby, but you're in the city center quite fast, too. Bus, tram and train stop nearby. An Uber Ride to the airport wasabou 15€ in the morning. Only minus is the closed restaurant and bar.
GGuest UserI had a 1 month stay and everything was perfect. The hotel is affordable, has daily cleaning services, and a very nice living area. The neighborhood is pretty central and safe. Train stop is just in front, bus stops pretty close. Staff very supportive. So far, perfect.
