Holiday Inn - the niu, TAB DUSSELDORF MAIN STATION by IHG

I had a good stay here. The staff were friendly. The room was reasonably clean (apart from a few minor details). I was surprised by the size of the room, especially the bathroom. The hotel seems far from the station, but I was there in no time. I don't mind walking either (about 12 minutes). They say they have air conditioning, but it's more like climate control. Otherwise, I had a pleasant stay. They really should clean the carpets in the hallways thoroughly.

The hotel is about 1.1 kilometers straight from the train station's rear exit, which is a bit of a distance. You'll eventually have to carry your luggage up stairs (or drag it up a ramp) to reach the hotel. Alternatively, you can take the subway for one stop with your luggage and use the hotel's front entrance (though there are still stairs or a ramp to climb). Inside, the hotel is great: it has an elevator and air conditioning (not just a cooler). Check-in at the front desk was quick, and you can store your luggage after check-out (highly recommended).

The hotel is very stylish and conveniently located near the subway, bus, and tram. The breakfast area is beautifully designed, and you can even have breakfast on the terrace. It's not super luxurious, but the price-performance ratio is good.

Clean, well-equipped, and the room was a good size. It's conveniently located near the Japanese snack street and beer street, and close to the train station for easy airport access.
