Staff was very nice, travel with baby. Baby bed was provided free of charge. A sign outside the door stating whether the room should be cleaned or not would be good so that guests are not "constantly" disturbed.

Chose this hotel as it has a bus stop right over the road from the airport as well as tram stops five minutes walk away that take you to the central shopping area, station and river. Its a nice small boutique hotel in a great location with extremely helpful and pleasant staff. The rooms are on the small side but are clean. There was a little noise at the back of the hotel but this was brief and didn't intefere with our sleep. Although we didn't have breakfast there it was available along with several other options to eat close by. Coffee or tea was available all day. It also had a small but nice seating area near reception and a bar. I would stay here again.

We recently concluded a stay at Mercure Zentrum Düsseldorf from December 30, 2023, to January 1, 2024. The hotel's advantageous location, just a 10-minute taxi ride from the shopping streets and the same time from a very nice wildprk, is it's best feature. Upon arrival, check-in was efficient, the staff was friendly, and the room, in line with Mercure standards, offered satisfactory amenities including coffee and tea. The hotel provides a convenient parking facility under the premises for 20 euros per night, which we chose over the free alternative across the street, considering the New Year's fireworks. However, our overall experience was marred by significant noise disturbances during the night, contrary to the promised "soundproof rooms" highlighted on Accor's website. This was particularly disappointing and led us to question the effectiveness of the hotel's sound insulation. In an attempt to address the inconvenience, the compensation provided (refund for one night of parking (20 euros)) seems inadequate, especially considering the total cost of the weekend stay amounted to just under 400 euros. On a positive note, the breakfast offerings were commendable, featuring a diverse selection of items ranging from bacon, meatballs, and scrambled eggs to yogurts, muesli, cornflakes, cheeses, and deli meats. However, the coffee from the machine left much to be desired, as it exhibited an unpalatable sourness, potentially stemming from an issue with the milk. Fortunately, this could be easily rectified with instant coffee. Adding to the drawbacks, the bathroom facilities were notably in need of renovation. Mold was pervasive in various corners of the silicone, and some areas lacked proper sealing, detracting from the overall cleanliness and comfort of the accommodations. While we departed contently with the perspective that "it could have been worse," the combination of noise disturbances and subpar bathroom conditions leaves us hesitant to choose Mercure Zentrum Düsseldorf for a second stay until improvements are made.

Nothing is missing..hotel is small but everything is done perfect ..excellent accommodation..location very good on a wide street..a bus station infront of door 721,722 to & from airport & to many connections..room & bathroom not large but clean & comfortable ( kettle, large TV,refrigerator, iron & iron board..etc).Staff friendly..Thx to the efficient administration..I’ll surely come again if in Düsseldorf.

Old Mercure that deserves to be completely renovated. Overpriced breakfast buffet (€25) given the service provided. Absolutely no longer up to the standard of the Mercure brand of the Accor group. Only advantage: its location near Dusseldorf station

First of all, I have to say that the thing about free parking is simply not true. I think €36 for one night is more than outrageous and not free as described. The hotel is very centrally located and you can get around town quickly. Public transport is right outside the door. The reception has nothing to do with the "cheerful Rhinelander". More with a cranky, dissatisfied, I-have-to-work person. And it continues like that. And actually the reception is the gateway to a harmonious hotel. Unfortunately not here! You go through the "dining room" (ridiculous) to get to the rooms. That means you walk past people early in the morning to get in or out. Oh yes, the groceries are also in between. The rooms are pretty small. Sorry but I haven't had that for a long time. And then to charge such a price for it is in line with the parking lot in the basement. The bathroom was appropriately large - adapted to the room. The shower door was broken in one place and only closed after it had been adjusted. If I'm going to subject guests to such a small shower, I'm not going to install such a space-consuming fitting. The towels were thin and frayed. And that's not acceptable for any hotel, regardless of the category. The hairdryer was more like an air swirler than something for drying hair. And if you're going to offer cable TV, you should also set the channels accordingly. The TV reflects the rest of the building. Is it so difficult for a general manager to check out these little things in your hotel once a week or a month? If you don't care about the room, reception or parking, you're in good hands here. Not us anymore!

You get what you pay for: neat clean room, good breakfast. The hallways and elevator are dated. Room is modern, bathroom looks fresh. For a 3 star hotel good. As a Platinum member got an upgrade to a spacious Privilege room with free minibar: much appreciated!
